When I first discovered cork board it revolutionized the way I do bases. My warhammer armies in particular benefited a great deal from this method. Urban rubble is so easy with cork. I use it on just about ever project now.

Washes are already pretty thin when you take them from the bottle. If you wanted to thin them further, water would work just fine.

In Warhammer Age of SIgmar there is an army called the Stormcast Eternals that ride dragons and have larger dragons in their army. It is a very cool army to play.

For sure. I have some trolls I could make some blue skin tutorials from. IN fact I think I have an older tutorial for Troggoths that you could watch right now. Check out some of the other videos I have on the channel and you should be able to find it pretty easily.

The change to having an advantage for the player who went second in the previous round is a recent change. This video was recorded before that change went into play. It used to be advantage to the player with the least cards in their command stack. Just one of those subtle changes over time.

This would work great on Magnus! I used this same recipe on Angron and it turned out really well.

This is a librarian in terminator armor from warhammer 40K. I added a grey knight terminator helmet in place of its normal head.

Yeah, I have tried tape but that method always leaves ridges whereas freehanding you can make sure there is a smooth transition between the colors so they are smooth to the touch.

I think that could work really well. Maybe a cult that has been thriving inside an imperial knight household so the decorative designs make more sense.

I play a custom chapter. I have been calling them the "Fists of Liberation". They are an imperial fists successor chapter on a never ending crusade to free Dorn from the grasps of chaos. (They believe Dorn is alive and being held by chaos somewhere)

Sadly, the only way to improve that is to keep trying. I wish there was a magical way to fix shaky hands or lack of coordination.

I do circular motions when I dry brush. You hit more angles and it looks less obvious which way you moved the brush.

Just different terms for the same thing. I call it a pin wash because that is what I heard it called the first time I was introduced to it.

The game is designed for a 2x2 board that is divided into 3 inch squares. The squares are pretty important tot eh gameplay so you definitely want some way to mark them. I made a textured board for the game. I used a wood burner to mark the corners of the squares then applied texture bastes and flock among some other stuff. It turned out pretty great and looks a bit more natural from a distance than the board that comes in the box does.

This will sound funny but I buy a cheap set of detail brushes at Walmart for like $5. I rarely use expensive brushes.

If I were going to do green I would start with a silver base coat then use a green wash, maybe biel-tan green. Then highlight with a silver.

It starts out that way. I have found it works really well to dilute it there on the miniature. Basically put the wash on then get a bit of water in your brush and go to work.

Nothing wrong with that. Just don't do that last step and you are good to go.

I imagine that would weather it a bit more. You just have to be very controlled with how you do it so you don't bring the paint all the way down tot eh grey plastic.

I am happy that I could be right in the middle ground. I don't think of my painting as being anything fancy. But it gets the job done and generally looks good.

Yeah, that is one way I have heard it.

I usually do a little bit. Especially on an older bottle of paint. It doesn't take much to overdo it and ruin the paint. Just be careful with it and take your time thinning it down a little at a time.

I don't necessarily do a set ratio but I do mix water in until I am happy with the consistency. Lately I have been accidentally over-thinning my paints so I need to play around with a bit less water.

As cool as a scarab would be, at this scale it would be way too large. I am so excited for the game. My shop is having a launch party for it today. It is going to be so fun!
