BRILLIANT!!! and such an easy technique!! I never considered CORK for rocks before! It's so simple that it's BRILLIANT!!! I literally did a FACEPALM 🤦♂️ after I saw this!!!

When I first discovered cork board it revolutionized the way I do bases. My warhammer armies in particular benefited a great deal from this method. Urban rubble is so easy with cork. I use it on just about ever project now.

Would snow on metal plates texture instead of soil be pretty similar in application?
@TheMiniatureManager9 ай бұрын
I would say so. You can adjust how heavy the snow is based on your preferences pretty easily. The only difference is that the metal will look like natural with no rocks and whatnot. So the snow might pile up differently depending on if you want to convey snow drifts or just flat falling snow.

Nice video!! Thanks for the tips. BTW, what size magnets do you use for all your Conquest models?
@TheMiniatureManager8 ай бұрын
That is an excellent question. On my older bases I want to say I use 10mm wide, 2mm thick magnets. On the newer infantry bases I use 5mm wide by 1mm thick magnets.

@@TheMiniatureManager Nice! I need to snag up some. I have a full 3500 point wahdrun army to knock out.

@@CriticalBill-eh2fm Magnets are the best thing you can add to a conquest army. it makes storing them and playing the game so much easier.

What varnish did you use?
@TheMiniatureManager8 ай бұрын
I just picked up a matt varnish from Hobby Lobby. I think it was Americana brand.
