I love CR superman love the looks, I grew up with this movies but ... Let's be honest. Every single one of them were HIRRIBLE!! Just terrible on every single way 😆. The portray of Christopher reevés was the only. Good thing about them. The story was super stupid. Terrible villains. Action scenes ....what action scenes?? 😆 Just awful. But this figure is fire 🔥 I can't wait. To have it in my hands

I cant believe i just noticed this guy! Definitely gonna snag him to go with my todd mcfarlane designed batman and wonder woman. Part of me also feels like certain page punchers waves have replaced the "todd mcfarlane designed" sub line.

Bale will always be my Batman. I never cared for the 1989 movie too much and the 60s show was WELLLL before my time. Wanna see this Superman next to the upcoming Batman Begins fig!

When removing the figure and accessaries from the package, I missed 2 of the 4 interchangable hands. I assume there would be 2 molded hands for accessaries, and 2 fists? regardless, I got the right molded hand and the left fist out, of which I figured out. I think that's all I need, but it's just one less way to pose him, without those other 2 hands that I missed.

They cheaped out on the sculpt for this Shazam. However, we might not have gotten it without all the reuse. I think the other (non-movie) Shazam is better.

Fun fact: If you want folded wings, you can also use demona folded wings for brooklyn. Paint it red. Get Elisa or yes Xantose business neca figure for folded wings.

I agree 100% neca is probably the best representation of reeves superman but mcfarlane is the best action figure.there really isn't that big of a quality difference between them mcfarlane did a really good job on this one. There's room for both in my collection

I definitely say Michael Keaton Batman would be best with Christopher Reeves Superman. And I got to say I love this Superman figure so much I'm so happy to have it in my collection.

I'll be honest, I prefer the darker variant; it captures a 90s vibe reminiscent of what a film featuring him alongside Keaton's Batman would look like. When placed together, they complement each other beautifully.

Cracks me up....." mcfarlane seems to put alot of effort into the movie sculpts" ........ all except the so called keaton 89 lol. Wouldnt it be wonderful if mcfarlane was MADE to not lazy out on sculpts . The reeve family was the only reason this turned out so good....they were going to half ass it like most of todds junk but the family said nope...do it right! Alot like a little kid when put to doing a chore will completely half ass it until there called on it to do it right. There needs to be alot less shilling and kissing ass and more ...hey ...do it right

Not sure what bugs me more, the cape being too long or Ace not having a single point of articulation. Both are equally annoying.

I found 5 Reeves Platinums at one Walmart and one regular version a couple days ago, so theyre showing up there as well as Best Buy. I saw the Page Punchers version at Gamestop. Did you not include the False God and Gold Superman figures in your huge compilation picture because theyre supposed to represent statues. Instead of the actual character? I saw False God in one of the more specialized pictures and Task Force (although I guess he counts as a recent Superman figure like you mentioned). I didnt see the gold statue at all. Thanks for including those pics. Those are good visual checklists.

I think the McFarlane Christopher Reeve Superman would go well with my Neca figures of Rocky and Ivan drago, Rambo, terminator, commando, Dutch from predator, blade runner action figures, ash Williams from evil dead, Kurt Russell figures from the thing and escape from New York, back to the future figures of Marty, doc and biff, Michael Keaton Batman, Peter Weller Robocop, etc. And my diamond select John wick figures and my McFarlane bloodshot and John Constantine figures too.

Fun Fact: While they're not the exact same in tone, Adam West's last appearance as Batman in live action was in the 1979 Legends of the Superheroes TV specials, so he's probably a better fit as they were technically contemporaries.

Bruh why in the world does he have an over exaggerated butt chin & a 5 o'clock shadow??! Lets not mention that he doesn't resemble Christopher Reeve and the fact that Macfarlane Toys thought it would look nice with that ugly torso line... i wouldnt recommend this at all to anyone.

I think the nose on Neca and Mezco are more accurate to what he nose looked like, apart from that, the paint job in the eyes and the upper right part of the lips, I believe McFarlane is superior. Although I changed my mind in a lot of figures after seeing them in hands, for example, I ended up coming to the conclusion that the head sculpt of Batman from the Knightfall two pack is not as bad I thought it was by just looking at videos and promo shots.

I thnk NECA nailed the head sculpt but since that figure is unfortunately plagued by QC issues with the brittle plastic the McFarlane figure is just an over all better figure, though on my display shelf the NECA Keaton Batman and Chris Reeve Superman scale better with the rest of the heroes McFarlane, NECA and even SOTA made for all these years. The new McFarlane stuff is just too tall.

I have mine. I like it. I put the extra head on the Hush SUPERMAN body. Looks great (IMO). Keaton and Reeve. Like #73... Bat Toast

It would be nice if a double pack appeared again in which Kent would be clearly dressed in the original costume from how he was dressed in the movie and this Superman figure, just as classic or I don't know.
