Alex owed Bridget bc she got kidnapped with Ava right? I think that was the debt he was talking about😭

You explained the book so horribly bad like man craft a script first and if you're this confused then dont review the book.You couldn't even recall the name of characters and places properly which gives off the vibe that you have not even read the book properly for reviewing...

The only reason I like the book is cud of Callum (I like bitchy characters) and the plot was sort of interesting

I liked the book. Bridget represented leadership and love for rhys by fighting for him. Some of us wish we were fought for just as much as we have others

Very glad for this summary. A friend’s new gf recommended it to me (I didn’t know what it was about) but it’s clear now that she does not read very much 😂😭. I love some good romance and also spicy scenes but I also don’t fuck with morally grey characters. Especially when all the comment reviews I’ve seen explaining this guy in more detail just gives me Christian Grey vibes which is not even morally grey to me- it’s just straight up romanticizing abuse and toxicity in general. I’ve been thru those relationships, and having healed from them now and in a healthy one, I can’t stand to read about them. It’s just really gross. This girl who recommended it though has mentioned a lot of toxic and abusive relationships she’s been in though and I don’t think she’s realized how toxic they were yet, hence why maybe she loves this series so much? She seems to love morally grey guys in romance and doesn’t care about plot at all.

I agree. Because I am a fan of romance books, but by the time I finished around chapter 30 I just gave up. Because the dirty talk + constant intimacy between them honestly started to make me uncomfortable (not attractive at all) . I'm happy to hear that they did have a happy ending though.
@charlmariswart222410 ай бұрын
Knowing this book, I think that phase "love makes you do strange things" was taken to whole new level. Because I got so confused to the point of the story. I mean was it about the romance or all the twisted plots in between? So I agree of reading the second one too but, I honestly don't know if I'll be reading the rest.

Naw yeah, I actually agree with everything you had to say. Honestly, I think hardy men are extremely attractive. As for Rhys, I thought he was so attractive until the overwhelming jealousy came about. I did however love how he suffered so much from the jealousy 🤣 very unattractive tho. Time skips were too aggressive, loved your review 🙌🏼

Maybe if it was a 300 page book without too many time jumps, they are in love (less sex because when is forbidden, it makes more sense to be more difficult to happen and delicious when it does), and then maybe the video leak and she has to figure out a way to make it all work. “Simple” is best sometimes! As a reader, I read books that did not have a huge plot, but the pacing was so good and the couple story so intriguing that it didn’t matter.

okay Twisted love is literally my first physical romance book. And i do regret reading it? hell freakin yes y'all don't know how mad I get whenever see people hyping up this stupid book which makes no sense at all and the fact that I wasted my money on it is depressing I would've invested in some other good book. Seeing ppl who agrees that this book is shit was the moment when I regained faith in people. Alex was big ass no for me, he was controlling freak I don't know who I survived this cringe boookkkk

I still cannot even believe someone would publish this garbage. The fact that this book has a 4.6 out of 5 stars rating on the Barnes and noble website scares me about the world we are living in today. I also don’t understand how this book is retailed at $17.99!?!? I wish I could get my money back.

I’ve just finished reading it and my version of the book was 502 pages but then at the end it had a small chapter from the sequel but also this little bit at the end that i think is set somewhere during this book, i havent read it yet but I’m really confused as to what its there for considering its after the acknowledgments and stuff (this brought the book to about 560 pages)?????????

just finished this book and have been bingeing reviews because I don't understand the hype!! re: your comments about dark academia, I don't even think this book does a good job of it. the setting is barely explained (and aesthetics are a big part of dark academia) & the philosophical statements sound pretty but have no meaning if you actually think about them like "beauty is nothing" ??? okay???

I quit 2 chapters in. Alex sounded like a serial killer with his description of sex and Ava sounded and acted as if she was 15 and not 22. And her acting like a kid when the rain thing, put me off. I got this book from the library and I'm upset! I didn't pay for it but I'm listening to this spoiler to avoid reading the book and uh, big yikes on that coupling!

This was perfect. I just DNFed the book because I was going back and forth between stress of them going to get caught (really, you're going to cup between her legs while standing between two cars?! What happened to your hyper awareness and vigilance??) to bored out of my mind. I was looking for a spoiler review to see if i was right he had royal blood, which i feel was obvious as soon as you got didn't know his father and hated the country. I was kind of meh on the first one but saw a lot of people say it was the worst of the series, so figured I'd give this a try. Nope. And I'm with you on the dirty talk, no kink shame to anyone but i also don't want to be called a whore. There's other ways to be dirty, but Alex and Rhys are the exact same style, down to the throat around the neck. (Which, side note, really weird that book one was into that when she had night terrors of not being able to breathe and all.) Too long, too boring, chemistry of a goldfish. Glad I DNFed, wish I found this review 100 pages ago. 😅
