I’m reading the second one because I friend lent me both to read. It is very similar. I had the same feelings you did about the first one. I liked the smut but not the dirty talk. I wish Brendan had shut the hell up 😂

yeahh i had to dnf this one 😭 and yeah it’s definitely not an enemies to lovers with how quickly they fell in love. i also hated the sex scenes and the dirty talk. not that i have anything against either, it was just written sooo poorly. like could we pls stop describing her vulva as her ‘sex’? thanks for the dedicated review!
