No. I went to see them in concert and, though I drink coffee rather than tea, I am not depressed or else male. I also come from a working class background.

Yeah, when my wife cheated and left, she was saying stuff like "you can always call me" and "maybe someday it will be different". She thought she was helping, but in reality she just felt guilty. No contact is the way to go after a breakup.

18 months after the release and I've listened an awful lot and seen a show on the tour. this version seems so fresh and raw and energized. fantastic. there's a desperation here to it.

A band that’s way better live than in the studio. Saw an amazing show in NYC

What is the warmup music before their set? I know the song but can’t for the life of me remember the name or artist.

I've always found this song hauntingly beautiful. It reminds me of missed connections with someone important and lost opportunities with people. If only I had tried a little harder. There's a mix of regret, sadness, and acceptance in those memories.

Feels like anyone might going thru the motions of life, working or developing creative projects, while also attempting to spark sone kind of connection with other people. You might gaze into different windows looking for possible angles but what’s the point in attempting communication when you know you have always felt alien to others and the world at large? Especially when the tine we have left is so short snd it wouldnt be worth getting attached, nor would we even mesh well being from different worlds. It might be best to simply go out and get lost in the natural world, see if there’s anything left worth saving, and maybe even follow the siren songs to drown in the flowing stream and be carried out to sea… or phone home and find a way back to your home world.

This is a good song to accompany the fact that I’m about ten pages from the end of “Flowers for Algernon.” You wanna talk about someone whose mind was not his friend … poor Charlie Gordon.

These are some of the deepest lyrics I’ve ever heard about (what I think it’s about) suicide. Every word is so sadly and perfectly laid out.
