the grandkids do the beats. P&B write the lyrics. They pick up modern slang from them, but their lyrics are chock full of stuff the grandkids wouldn't know about. (Like the line "you don't wanna press your luck, you don't wanna bet your life" (don't remember the song). Both Press Your Luck and You Bet Your Life were game shows from about 10 years before the grandkids were born. Also, if the grandkids could write bars like this, they'd use them in their own songs. You can check them out (Nine and Dex) and they've got bars, but not bars like P&B do.

Shorter with goatee is Pete, taller with mullet is Bas. (Bas is short for Basil and it rhymes with Jazz) Whether or not they were (or are) in that life isn't known for sure, but seriously, would you question it to their faces? Probably not, just in case. Interesting to notice: Pete often talks about smoking and gunplay, but you'll never see him with a gun or smoking in any video. Even in this one, when he pulls back his jacket, the holster is empty. He'll sometimes hold a cigar, but it's not lit. Trust me on this: you'll get subscribers if you follow them down this rabbit hole, while enjoying some great music. Every song is fire and every song is wildly different from the others. Nobody else in the game is bringing this kind of variety right now. Also, they just finished a sold-out European tour. I shit you not.

he acted like he didn't when addressing all the diss tracks coming from everyone. He did mention the artist 'hard target' who rides with this guy on atleast one other track. I never heard of either one before this, but after their diss tracks. I checked them out. They are pretty dope in my honest opinion.
