@@fryloc0034 Pete doesn't smoke at all. Probably did in the past, but he just beat cancer. You'll never see him smoking and any cigar he's holding is unlit. He does pantomime puffing a cigar in "Slap the Stick" but there's no actual smoke. Bas can be seen smoking a cig in a couple videos.

the grandkids do the beats. P&B write the lyrics. They pick up modern slang from them, but their lyrics are chock full of stuff the grandkids wouldn't know about. (Like the line "you don't wanna press your luck, you don't wanna bet your life" (don't remember the song). Both Press Your Luck and You Bet Your Life were game shows from about 10 years before the grandkids were born. Also, if the grandkids could write bars like this, they'd use them in their own songs. You can check them out (Nine and Dex) and they've got bars, but not bars like P&B do.
