I look forward to seeing more videos!!! Thats one of my goals for the year is do upload more. I finished a good bit of fragrance last year and going to hopefully finish up more this year. I'm also doing a no buy year. I'll probably do updates ever 2 weeks or so. Happy New Year Amber!

I have pulled out my Tiny Marvels and I have been using the Peach shade as a blush and the lightest shimmer shade as a highlight! I am mixing and matching it with my other palettes, so I do not get bored. I am loving my Becca highlight opal under the light shimmer shade from the Tiny Marvels, and it tones it down just enough. I am loving the Kosas powder under my eyes, it is such a beautiful powder for under the eyes. If you can find any of the GVXE beauty liquid blushes at TJMAXX, I would pick it up, they are fabulous. The GVXE and L'Oreal liquid blushes are perfect.

@@bansheemuse4794 yes on that peach shade as a blush! I instantly thought that direction as well. Even Mel had a tutorial focused on using it in her crease and then again as a blush- I can think of so many possibilities with that shade alone ♥️. That’s a great tip about opal bc that bright shimmer in Tiny Marvels is so intense. I’ve used it as an inner corner shimmer but have yet to go for it on my brow bone. I think I like that idea of toning it down some. I’ve never tried the Kosas powder; I’ll have to put it on my list of things to try as I finish up what’s in my vanity♥️

I enjoy the LA Colors concealers, myself. I use multiple concealers,too. A concealer cocktail if you will😅

I’m panning Mac Whirl and Love U Back since it’s the year of mocha. Whirl is a little dark and Love U Back is a little light so I have been doing my top lip in one and my bottom lip in the other and mixing.

i want to see how you are using all those concealers on your face. That palette is a pretty palette. I've never heard of that brand. Those pencils are hilarious. So tiny. Pencils usually last a long time. People are so funny about perfume. Many are allergic of it or it makes some people sick. They used to tell us in my church choir not to wear perfume. I like perfumed lotions. You can put it on and have a nice scent that is not overpowering. My favorite perfumes are not made anymore.

@@denisadellinger what’s funny is it took me such a long time to embrace wearing perfume bc I’d been around too many folks who put on too much so I was completely disgusted about it. I finally wanted to embrace trying some things out bc I fell in love with a few scents and now I have a small collection to get through🤓

I’m panning Tiny Marvels this year too! This month I’m focusing on Spyder and Scarab. Bee Bee is going to be a challenge for me as well, I don’t love heavy yellow tones. I’ve done a dark brown Smokey eye with bee bee on the lid that was pretty but very dramatic for everyday. Although being a glasses wearer helps tone down looks!

AWESOME! I am thinking of sheering out Bee Bee with other intense shimmers bc I too am a a little worried about the heavy yellow even under the glasses 😂. Maybe it will end up being the favorite shade for us both by the end of the year!

@ I’m thinking about trying it next in outer third layered over Spyder and blending it into a lighter purple or pinky shimmer across the inner 2/3. I have some gorgeous The Pastel Roses shades or even my What’s Up Beauty Dragon Eye palette that I’m thinking I’m might like to try with it.

How long does your makeup routine take you daily?

It depends. Since I get into solid routines with my products I can get it nailed down consistently to 15-20 min to do a full face if I do not have time to dally around. If I am relaxed and sit down and have my coffee, KZbin in the background and I'm not rushed I will usually take 30-40min depending on the types of videos playing. I use this as my me time so I am consistent in making it a priority for my creativity and my mental health🥰

Good luck on your transition to grey journey. I am 60 this year and we have similar colouring. Before I started my transition, I thought my hair was a lot greyer than it truly is because I have some grey stripes that now look like beautiful highlights in my salt and pepper hair. It’s true that I now rock a red lip and cooler toned blush shades. It’s been great experimenting with new styles and embracing my natural tones and undertones.

Amber, I've been watching you since I was 30. I'm now 41. I completely understand what you're saying about the aging process. I'm finding the older I get, the less darker colors are flattering on me. I think it's because my skin just gets paler every year. I've lightened 2 shades in foundation the last 4 years. I'm actually going to be working with my ND I Need A Nude palette, which will be a great challenge. I don't have the palette that you're working on. I'm also working on a 25 in 25 this year, so I have my work cut out for me😂

I’m noticing my skin is lighter and brighter as well and I am definitely much more diligent about taking care of it now more than I used to at a younger age! I am looking forward to the brighter complexion and for it looking crisp with they silver coming in. I’m not as daunted by the hair changes anymore bc I’m excited to have my own unique look at this point 😃 you are choosing an awesome palette; nd is one of my most favorite brands to use as of the last few years. Her color stories are so approachable and her formula is fantastic and doesn’t look crepe looking throughout the day❤️

Genuine question... I've seen your videos throughout the years doing panthatpalettes/project pans. And you've gone through so many products!! Do you pan your palettes to minimize your collection? It seems like you also buy new products as well. I just thought that you would have such a small collection by now after doing project pans for like 10 years. Just curious about your end goals! It's giving me perspective of how long it might take to go through my makeup collection. Thank you! Great job this year!!

@@ishy11 I appreciate it! To answer your questions, yes, I do pan to reduce the size of my collection. I do buy new makeup and bc of all the panning I have done through the years my shopping is drastically different from what it used to be. I have picked up new palettes here and there but still go down from panning. Right now I limit myself to a plastic bin of extra palettes and I limit my vanity drawn as well so if something new doesn’t fit, I have to make a decision to let something go. It’s much easier to not buy makeup like I used to bc I see things constantly duping each other and I do enjoy the process of the panning bc many times it’s helped me make ultimate decisions about buying from brands so I’m not tempted to be a completionist with my eyeshadow palettes for example. I’ve narrowed down to my holy grail colors in blush, lipsticks, and other areas so I can just enjoy the challenge with the eyeshadow here on out ❤️

Maybe you could franken that orange shade in the Juvias place palette into a brown to warm it up? Then you would just have a large pan of a warm brown which you seem to go through quickly

@@shellykozun3813 agreed! My days of wearing straight orange shadow are gone. It took me back to panning Stila’s In the almost palette and then again with a shade from the KVD mi vida loca remix palette. I loved it back then but for sure I’m in the club with you that it is not my best look😂

Oh wow! You've done an amazing job using up product this year!! I'm impressed that Nubian 3 palette is so close to being finished! I spent the year panning the Viseart Petit Pro 1 palette, and I only managed to hit pan in 3/8 shades. One went bad so I binned that. I've decided for 2025 that I'm going on a complete makeup no buy, and along with that I'm also going to be rotating through my products. I'm going to be focusing on randomly selecting an item to use, and then using it 3 times to decide if I keep it or declutter it. Nail polishes i'll only use 1x to confirm they still work as I have so many, and because I work in healthcare it's difficult for me to actually paint my nails regularly. Enjoy using the Tiny Marvels palette! It's such a beautiful palette. I just checked.... yes it's still available on the Sydney Grace website. :) You're going to have a fun year with all that colour! A massive change from your style in 2024! Happy panning!

Good luck with the no buy and you should make posts of your makeup bags as you rotate things❤️ remember as a little tip; since you are using things a few times remember to give yourself some grace period, so,e things will look better in some seasons than others so make sure that you give yourself the time and space for that. Also remember that hormones will change the way your makeup looks too when it comes to how they sit on your skin and lasting power too❤️ just a thought to maybe capsule makeup wear as you randomly select things if they end up not jiving with other products you choose at the same time❤️

You used an abnormal amount of eye shadow. You did awesome. No way could I do that. As much as I try, I can use up about 4 shadows a year and that’s using them as highlight lol. I’ll start using the Mel palette around spring time for a bit. I haven’t got much use out of it

@@Shortcake918 the key for me is consistency. I pan those looks and that has been game changing. I love not having the decision fatigue and the progress is more achievable that way for sure! It still took me more than a year bc I started that Juvias place palette years ago but I will admit I enjoyed the heck out of it! I pulled out my too faced dupe of that coral for the same reason. Back when I wanted to dupe the vibes it as easy and there are some similarities between sultry and tiny marvels as well. ❤️

I feel like it’s a palette that can bring a spark of joy and creativity and an even cooler factor of bringing back more of the OG connections and friendships that happened in the beauty community. Great! I'm looking forward to seeing more of you this year. Please release more videos. I've not been wearing makeup for the last few months, I've had major surgery and a hip replacement. I've let my beautiful skin that I took so much pains with for the last several years go to pot. I just haven't been out much and when you are in pain, routines just go by the wayside. At least I know that what I have been doing in my skincare is working very well. Now to get my face back in shape, I'm wanting to get into my makeup and wear it more. I just sit and go thru my drawers and look at all my palettes and love them.

@@denisadellinger oh Denisa! You’ve had a big year! My sister has been dealing with a similar situation; she’s also been recovering from hip surgery and it’s been a massive life change for her in ways she never expected. It has drastically changed how she looks at cold weather and walking distances etc. She spent a lot o f months on a walker and she wears a brace in the cold to make sure her hip doesn’t get too stiff and sore. I hope that I always keep you encouraged to smile every time that you see that makeup. Take the time for you and try crazy, colorful eyes with me this year! ❤️

I have a disability post Covid and do a lot of rehab. I often don’t have the energy to do much with my self care so I keep the micellar water,cotton pads, moisturiser and lip balm in my bedside table drawers. I do enjoy my morning routine and having a small curated stash of makeup. Cream Products that add some colour and boost my mood and confidence get me up and about. This includes fragrance! I get ready while watching a video for inspiration.

Maybe within the panning community we can bring up interest in the palette so that it will bring attention to her awesome shadows and also so that Mel’s hubby and kiddos can get some of that residual income for the family. I started in Aug to pan my BH cosmetics love in London. I originally wanted to completely pan since it an easier formula than others I own, but ive been debating stopping at 100 uses. The shimmers aren't as shimmery as I like and there tends to be a good amount of fall out. I have reached 100 uses as of today so guess I need to decide if I take it into 2025 or start something new.

@@concesi8877 i wear makeup 6 days a week and only apply once. The only thing I touch up is my lip product and occasionally if I need it; a few spritzes of Mac fix + ♥️ now as far as the progress, it really does help that a few of the shadows in this palette can multitask as blush as highlight bc it creates so much more momentum that way😎
