Mel’s hubby runs her channel now but still left all of her old videos up so it has been fun to go through and get a glimpse of some of the ideas she put together to use the shades. I am really going to have a challenge with the beegees and the mantis shades but I am excited to see what we will learn!❤️

Good luck on your transition to grey journey. I am 60 this year and we have similar colouring. Before I started my transition, I thought my hair was a lot greyer than it truly is because I have some grey stripes that now look like beautiful highlights in my salt and pepper hair. It’s true that I now rock a red lip and cooler toned blush shades. It’s been great experimenting with new styles and embracing my natural tones and undertones.

Great! I'm looking forward to seeing more of you this year. Please release more videos. I've not been wearing makeup for the last few months, I've had major surgery and a hip replacement. I've let my beautiful skin that I took so much pains with for the last several years go to pot. I just haven't been out much and when you are in pain, routines just go by the wayside. At least I know that what I have been doing in my skincare is working very well. Now to get my face back in shape, I'm wanting to get into my makeup and wear it more. I just sit and go thru my drawers and look at all my palettes and love them.

@@denisadellinger oh Denisa! You’ve had a big year! My sister has been dealing with a similar situation; she’s also been recovering from hip surgery and it’s been a massive life change for her in ways she never expected. It has drastically changed how she looks at cold weather and walking distances etc. She spent a lot o f months on a walker and she wears a brace in the cold to make sure her hip doesn’t get too stiff and sore. I hope that I always keep you encouraged to smile every time that you see that makeup. Take the time for you and try crazy, colorful eyes with me this year! ❤️

I have a disability post Covid and do a lot of rehab. I often don’t have the energy to do much with my self care so I keep the micellar water,cotton pads, moisturiser and lip balm in my bedside table drawers. I do enjoy my morning routine and having a small curated stash of makeup. Cream Products that add some colour and boost my mood and confidence get me up and about. This includes fragrance! I get ready while watching a video for inspiration.

Maybe within the panning community we can bring up interest in the palette so that it will bring attention to her awesome shadows and also so that Mel’s hubby and kiddos can get some of that residual income for the family. I feel like it’s a palette that can bring a spark of joy and creativity and an even cooler factor of bringing back more of the OG connections and friendships that happened in the beauty community. I pulled out my too faced dupe of that coral for the same reason. Back when I wanted to dupe the vibes it as easy and there are some similarities between sultry and tiny marvels as well. ❤️

Amber, I've been watching you since I was 30. I'm now 41. I completely understand what you're saying about the aging process. I'm finding the older I get, the less darker colors are flattering on me. I think it's because my skin just gets paler every year. I've lightened 2 shades in foundation the last 4 years. I'm actually going to be working with my ND I Need A Nude palette, which will be a great challenge. I don't have the palette that you're working on. I'm also working on a 25 in 25 this year, so I have my work cut out for me😂

I’m noticing my skin is lighter and brighter as well and I am definitely much more diligent about taking care of it now more than I used to at a younger age! I am looking forward to the brighter complexion and for it looking crisp with they silver coming in. I’m not as daunted by the hair changes anymore bc I’m excited to have my own unique look at this point 😃 you are choosing an awesome palette; nd is one of my most favorite brands to use as of the last few years. Her color stories are so approachable and her formula is fantastic and doesn’t look crepe looking throughout the day❤️

Great job this year!! I don’t have the Tiny Marvel palette but I do have her version of the retro glam palette. I think I will try to do a uses goal with that palette. I really want to pan my lorac pro palette next year. I’m so excited for the new year.

@@TrueSugar come on and pan it! I see some similarities with LORAC Pro and some of the tiny marvels shadows. You can focus on mauve and deep plum off the top of my head and for sure❤️

Maybe you could franken that orange shade in the Juvias place palette into a brown to warm it up? Then you would just have a large pan of a warm brown which you seem to go through quickly

Oh wow! You've done an amazing job using up product this year!! I'm impressed that Nubian 3 palette is so close to being finished! I spent the year panning the Viseart Petit Pro 1 palette, and I only managed to hit pan in 3/8 shades. One went bad so I binned that. I've decided for 2025 that I'm going on a complete makeup no buy, and along with that I'm also going to be rotating through my products. I'm going to be focusing on randomly selecting an item to use, and then using it 3 times to decide if I keep it or declutter it. Nail polishes i'll only use 1x to confirm they still work as I have so many, and because I work in healthcare it's difficult for me to actually paint my nails regularly. Enjoy using the Tiny Marvels palette! It's such a beautiful palette. I just checked.... yes it's still available on the Sydney Grace website. :) You're going to have a fun year with all that colour! A massive change from your style in 2024! Happy panning!

Good luck with the no buy and you should make posts of your makeup bags as you rotate things❤️ remember as a little tip; since you are using things a few times remember to give yourself some grace period, so,e things will look better in some seasons than others so make sure that you give yourself the time and space for that. Also remember that hormones will change the way your makeup looks too when it comes to how they sit on your skin and lasting power too❤️ just a thought to maybe capsule makeup wear as you randomly select things if they end up not jiving with other products you choose at the same time❤️

You used an abnormal amount of eye shadow. You did awesome. No way could I do that. As much as I try, I can use up about 4 shadows a year and that’s using them as highlight lol. I’ll start using the Mel palette around spring time for a bit. I haven’t got much use out of it

@@Shortcake918 the key for me is consistency. I pan those looks and that has been game changing. I love not having the decision fatigue and the progress is more achievable that way for sure! It still took me more than a year bc I started that Juvias place palette years ago but I will admit I enjoyed the heck out of it! Genuine question... I've seen your videos throughout the years doing panthatpalettes/project pans. And you've gone through so many products!! Do you pan your palettes to minimize your collection? It seems like you also buy new products as well. I just thought that you would have such a small collection by now after doing project pans for like 10 years. Just curious about your end goals! It's giving me perspective of how long it might take to go through my makeup collection. Thank you! Great job this year!!

@@ishy11 I appreciate it! To answer your questions, yes, I do pan to reduce the size of my collection. I do buy new makeup and bc of all the panning I have done through the years my shopping is drastically different from what it used to be. I have picked up new palettes here and there but still go down from panning. Right now I limit myself to a plastic bin of extra palettes and I limit my vanity drawn as well so if something new doesn’t fit, I have to make a decision to let something go. It’s much easier to not buy makeup like I used to bc I see things constantly duping each other and I do enjoy the process of the panning bc many times it’s helped me make ultimate decisions about buying from brands so I’m not tempted to be a completionist with my eyeshadow palettes for example. I’ve narrowed down to my holy grail colors in blush, lipsticks, and other areas so I can just enjoy the challenge with the eyeshadow here on out ❤️

@@shellykozun3813 agreed! My days of wearing straight orange shadow are gone. It took me back to panning Stila’s In the almost palette and then again with a shade from the KVD mi vida loca remix palette. I loved it back then but for sure I’m in the club with you that it is not my best look😂
