Some brave souls .. well done everybody. There are a couple of 'festive swims' near where I live in the North East .. one on Boxing Day at Tynemouth and the other, on New Year's Day in my home town of Whitley Bay. Both are always very well supported. All the best for 2024

They were! If I had to pick one, I think I’d probably pick the Trawlermen one, but all of them were outstanding

Great video. Lovely day. Natural sounds are best thanks. A longer drone footage would have been great ie from the west and from the east. Thank you.🙂

Been going there since the early 70's and was lucky enough to see the last ship unloading wood in the harbour. The river is held back by sluice gates at the back of the harbour, on spring tides these are opened at low tide to scour the main channel. Harbour Lights, Broadchurch, and The Navy Lark movie were all filmed there, also a tyre advert was filmed on one of the harbour piers. Not forgetting that Reggie Perrin went into the sea there !

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. As simple as this walk might seem to some, it means the world to me. My grandma lived at Nothe House and I spent my entire childhood in this area and spent many, many years on this path. I now live in the US and as I watch this it means everything to me. Thank you!! x

Enjoyable video, Weymouth looks like a nice place. Just a general point, why do some of our seaside resorts have a busy main road cutting off the town from the beach? I would definately like to see that busy road closed or restricted to traffic. Just my opinion.

Awesome video I think that the shingle beach is quieter because people with children would want a Sandy beach so the kids can make sand castles you can't do that on a shingle beach
