Had one of these on an Alienware i got for a discount, and the card served me well. It was loud, but never overheated even with a decent overclock. Always kept a steady temperature without throttling. I upgraded to a new gpu and the card is now getting new life in my friend's computer.

nice review, I just read your forum post on LTT(which i've been boycotting for like a year LOL) because I just bought this board for an 11900k. Thought I'd just give an experience update given the platform has had some time to mature. I've had a great experience with mine, I got all the necessary BIOS and chipset stuff updated to most recent. Overclocked the balls off my cpu to 5.2ghz all-core and overclocked my ram to 3733cl14 14 14. Using 980 pro ssd connected to the cpu at pcie 4 via 4 lanes. 3080 running at pcie 4 x16. Everything working as advertised, it's been the easiest and most dialed board I've had so far. Getting 17k in R23, sub 40ns ram latency and around 60k bandwidth. All very good results relative to the 11900k. For 11900k's on HWbot, for r23 with water cooling, I'm on the first page! (top 20). My PCH does run hot, hotter than the posters in your thread, but it has not been an issue. It was actually higher, but I deactivated the Thunderbolt ports, my SATA controller(only using nvme), and the lan port I'm not using so I got it about 15c lower than stock.

Have you tried putting that P4000 in one of the newer mini pc's? Minisforum takes MXM cards.

Will i lose any performance between using the last driver which installs without errors or the moded but more recent one?

The 11700 is now down to under $200.00.

Just to note : the plx chipset is not a bifurcation. It is just like any usb hub, but for pcie. so motherboard is irrelevant and the chip do all the work and is transparent.

There is an error and it is installing the drivers for the gtx1060 instead of the gtx1070 because the p4000 is a trimmed gtx1070, but more powerful than the gtx1060

I have been having overheating and thermal throttling with this card when playing Warthunder. Replacing the thermal paste on the GPU brought the GPU temps down, but the memory temps quickly get into the high 80s, then it throttles. Any suggestions on how to get the memory temps down???

In my case it completes the installation, but as soon as I restart the computer and enter the device manager, the message with the error (code 43) appears. And the Nvidia control panel does not appear. I use the GT 630 Synergy Zotac.

I just bought HP version of RTX 2070 for 400 złoty (that's something around 90$). I consider it as a good opportunity to get a nice card for really low price. I hope that it will serve well.
