This Intel CC150 CPU is a 8 cores 16 threads parts custom made for Nvidia Geforce Now. It has similar specs to an i9 9900k processor, however it supports ECC Unbuffered memory, like the Xeon E processors. It does not support Turbo Boost and does not come with Intel iGPU. It has a TDP of 95W but it consumes less than 60W under full load in our tests.

I remember I have a a dell xps 15 2 in 1 with an i7 8705G. It's only a 4c/8t chip but the build in Vega graphics needs a good cooling so it would throttle if you're gaming. I disable turbo boost. Problem solve. I hope you can find a way to make that cc150 work on your friends zotac en1060. That would be a really cool project.

Yeah I’m working on that. The 8705G rums pretty hot tho. My friend has an intel prototype compute card, like the ones you find on Nuc9, with 2 of the 8705G on board. And that thing requires serious cooling

I wonder if this processor would be good for a low power simple home NAS/server? It's half cheaper than a used i7 9700 here where I live. I wonder if it could run headless...

Very interesting video. Did you check to see if it was memory speed limited? Like could it only run at DDR4-2400 or could you enable XMP? Thanks.

THX for the Video! im getting one of these ATM... just too cheap to not test ( 9900k 20% faster but 4x the cost still so not worth) this is the best value for 9th gen platform systems :))

I found out about this cpu when I was playing BeamNG.Dive in school when apparently the servers had under 8GB of ram and I had to accept the acknowledgement

no this processor is locked and cannot be overclocked,it's about 50$ on chinese second-hand market now
