Wow dude, that thing is a beast, badass too! How does it do with those huge tires and all the other mods with the 4.0? I managed to find myself a unicorn. 2004 WJ Loredo, 4.7 with only 32k miles on it. It was some dude's 2nd car and only came out in the snow. More than half the miles are open country roads. The 4.0 was my preference also, but this ran and sounded really good. And the interior, 90% mint! I just put a 2" lift with BFG All Terrain TA 245/65/17 on Rock Trix rims with a +12 offset. It looks amazing. The tire and rim combo fill out the wheel wells nicely. It's not nearly the beast yours is, but I do have an 03 Rubicon I'm working on. The Cherokee is my daily driver. Nice ride, great video. If those hood mounts for the lights ever fail M11 Offroad makes a decent set for $45, mine should be coming soon. Any suggestions on light pods?

I built tube brace that runs from the bumper back to the core support. It’s more support for the headlights, but helps brace the fenders. Hope that helps!

2019 wrangler unlimited sport, ESS stopped working / light came on. Swapped out main and aux battery, (both were factory and aux was bad, causing a parasitic drain on main). Everything is working except the ESS light is still on and start/stop disabled. I’ve checked if fuses were properly set, reset ECU twice, checked everything mentioned on the video. Apparently there are like 24 things that could cause the ESS to deactivate. I’ve read on forums that sometimes after changing the batteries the ESS light can go off after regular driving for a few days. Would love to figure this out without having to go to a dealership but running out of potential causes.

Excellent video! You got me pumped up with your vids I was thinking of regearing my stock axels and add support to run 40’s and see how long they last before they break. But definitely do aggressive trails. Or should I just go straight to the 60 ? Thanks 🙏
@PSFGarage
@PSFGarage Ай бұрын
Thanks so much! Guess it depends on the stock axles. Are we talking Dana 30 and 35? If so, probably not worth spending the money to beef them up for 40’s. Dana 44’s? Might be worth beefing them up. That’s the plan on my JL. Otherwise, might be worth upgrading to some 1-ton axles and upgrading those. Probably the better option long term! Great question and thanks for watching!!

Just for future and anyone else that is trying to do this disconnect the wires that are attached to the negative terminal and wrap them with electric tape before you start this job and disconnect the negative terminal. If not you still have power and that's why he blew the fuse.

I bought a gladiator and wrangler JL rubicon also for this exact same reason. I wanted capable off road vehicles and overlanding far into the wilderness, but didn’t trust older trucks and jeeps. I had a 03 Tacoma trd and was left stranded one time cuss the older front driver arm broke and essentially the wheel hubs fell off. After that I sold it and bought a brand new gladiator, never looked back and never had a major issue overlanding. Few months ago, I bought a Jl rubicon for more off roading specific trips. Gladiator is great for overlanding and staying on groomed trails, but not good for off roading/wheelin.
