Hello You sure can import Orders with multiple line items. Such order would have multiple rows in the file both having Line: Type set as Line Item. You can see an example of this in our simplified Orders demo file which has one order with two line items - matrixify.app/documentation/orders/#Needaquickstart If you have any other questions or concerns, please reach out to our support directly - matrixify.app/contact-us/

Hello It likely does mean that you have a Basic subscription plan in the app which supports migration of up to 50 Blog Posts as per our Pricing page - matrixify.app/pricing/ The same limit is also shown when selecting the subscription plan within the Matrixify app. To migrate more than 50 Blog Posts from WordPress, you would need to upgrade to a higher subscription plan that supports the import/export of the amount of Blog Posts as you need. If you have further questions or issues with this, please reach out to our support directly - matrixify.app/pricing/

Can Matrixify handle multiple 2 languages? i.e., I have 1 product or 1 info page in English - can it / will it display the 2nd language in the next column alongside it? Or do I need 2 separate Excels?
@matrixify
@matrixify Ай бұрын
Hello At the moment Matrixify app does not export or import multi-language translations for any data, including Metafields. The export/import data will only have values as you can directly see them in your Shopify Admin manually. But you can look into using Shopify native Languages export/import in `Admin > Settings > Languages` section.

@@matrixify Sorry if my question was not clear... We already have our site in English and Japanese. If we export using Matrixify, will it export both the EN and JA together? Or will it only download the EN, meaning we have to upload in English then manually / automatically translate into JP after? We have a lot of food products with a lot of ingredient listings, and it'd be great to be able to upload it all directly from one Excel...
@matrixify
@matrixify Ай бұрын
@@GK_SheepImpact Hello The app would export only value that you see in the admin for your Metafields and other attributes. Translations are not currently exported or imported with our app. The translation to Japanese would indeed need to be done after the upload, not within the Matrixify app.

Can we disable & turn off the email notifications for the "CUSTOMERS" during the orders migration from Woo-Commerce to Shopify. I don’t want my customers to receive the order confirmation emails from shopify while i migrate all the past orders data from Woo-commerce.
@matrixify
@matrixify 3 ай бұрын
Hello The Matrixify app does not specifically send/trigger any customer notification when migrating Orders unless manually adjusting our template files to do so. But we cannot control any other app and setting in the store that might detect the imported order and act on it, such as by sending an email notification. If concerned, you can take the import dry-run returned Orders sheet and test one orders import from it. If any notifications are send then that will show up in the Orders Timeline comments in Shopify Admin. Hope this helps, if you have any other questions or concerns, please reach out to our support directly - matrixify.app/contact-us/

I'll just leave this here for the poor sap that gets stuck like I did. If you are a Shopify dev and get told "here's the exported file, please import" Ensure that any firewall on the Magento server is switched off, before importing on Shopify. June 2024, Matrixify does not have a warning that alerts you when the firewall is stopping images from importing to Shopify.
@matrixify
@matrixify 4 ай бұрын
Hello Nardu, Thank you for the input. Indeed firewall could be an issue depending on the setup. Matrixify app is not really able to tell if the firewall is blocking images as it could also be an issue with image links themselces or other issue with hosting resulting in the same - that image is not accessible. However, in the app, you should see a warning that the image was not downloaded by Shopify indicating that there is an issue with images. Great to hear that you resolved this issue. Hello Matrixify app helps you to import various data into the Shopify store - Products, Collections, Customers, Orders, Blog Posts, Pages, and so on - matrixify.app/documentation/ Specifically for WordPress, we have a developed feature to migrate Blog Posts and Pages as per this video, you can see its written tutorial here - matrixify.app/tutorials/migrate-blog-posts-from-wordpress-to-shopify/ Additionally, we also have a feature to migrate Products, Collections, Customers, Orders, and Discounts from the WordPress app WooCommerce - matrixify.app/tutorials/migrate-store-from-wordpress-woocommerce-to-shopify/ You can also migrate other data that our app supports for Shopify import, but it would require you to manually convert your file to our template for import. Do note that we do migrate the actual data, but in Shopify, the site's look and feel is managed by the store's Theme. The Shopify Theme would need to be set up and adjusted manually as per your requirements. It is a shame how greedy shopify is. They launch a feature with no way to upload meta fields in bulk without purchasing a third party app so that they could eat up hefty commission for a thing that should be built right into shopify. Absolutely disgusting.

Hi Shop-level Metafields indeed are not available manually in Shopify Admin as they are used quite rarely, usually only apps/integrations use them to store shop-level data. Other entity metafields such as for Products, Variants, Customers and others you can manage manually in Shopify admin - help.shopify.com/en/manual/custom-data/metafields As well as editing them in bulk - help.shopify.com/en/manual/custom-data/metafields/bulk-edit-metafields Though indeed there is no import ability for Metafields in Shopify Admin.

@@matrixify We have 10,000+ products and already have data available in excel sheets. Why would we want to manually edit data. Also bulk edit is irrelevant as we have different values for each items. It would amount to making the data from scratch. I appreciate you providing the import functionality. But it is such a basic function that it should exist natively in shopify. That too considering shopify charges monthly fee and many of it compitetors are either free or cheaper.

@matrixify
@matrixify 7 ай бұрын
Hello It would depend on where you have removed them and what it action you expect as a result. When importing, the app would manage all the products as per the Google Sheets document. By default, if a product does not exist in the Shopify store then the app will create it and if it exists then find and update it. If you remove the product from the Google Sheets document then the app will not touch that product in the store as we only manage Products that are listed in the import file. If this does not answer your question, then it would be best to reach out to our support directly with details about your use case so that we can see if it's something that can be achieved in the app currently. matrixify.app/contact-us/

Hello! Matrixify specializes in migrations to Shopify and does not have a tutorial or process for migrating from Shopify to WooCommerce. Our focus is on helping users import and export data within the Shopify platform and migrating data from other platforms to Shopify. If you have any further questions regarding Matrixify app, feel free to reach out to our Support directly - matrixify.app/contact-us/ Note that we could assist you only with questions/inquiries regarding the Matrixify app and would not be able to provide much detail for questions and issues related to WooCommerce data imports.

Hi Mike, With the Matrixify app you can import Gift Cards Products and Orders where line items are Gift Cards which would trigger the Gift Card creation in the store by Shopify. But this approach via the Orders would not allow to set codes as they would be generated automatically by Shopify and also expiration dates cannot be set - matrixify.app/tutorials/migrate-gift-cards-between-shopify-stores-using-gift-card-orders/ Currently, we do not have a feature to import/export actual Gift Cards as the Shopify API required for this is limited by Shopify only to Shopify Plus stores. Thus such a feature would be available to a small number of merchants.

Hello Rahul, Indeed Matrixify would put all blog posts in the same default blog. If you have all of them in the same blog, then the simplest fix would be to download the Import Results file for your import and in it change the blog listed in the `Blog: Handle` and `Blog: Title` columns and then import that file.
