Does this have a removable battery + chassis? So far, there was no infos about disassmbly with this hilt.
@bluebomber8124 күн бұрын
This does have a removable battery but it's not the removable type chassis that they feature in their newer sabers. But the handle does unscrew below the button so you have easy access to everything.

Did you ever find out a fix for this?
@bluebomber812 ай бұрын
@GrandTirino for this I had to manually download a firmware from the darkwolf sabers support page and install that. Somehow I got it wrong at first but once I got the firmware for rgb everything has been fine.

I need help for the Proffie 2.2, I bought one from TXQ and was wondering if its the same process?
@bluebomber813 ай бұрын
Proffie is definitely a bit different. You'll want to head over to fett263(dot)com and look at the 'updating your proffieboard' tab at the bottom. That will be where you get started with getting set up to add fonts and blade styles. Takes a bit of setup up front but gets easier once you get used to it.

Yea, stuff getting mixed around at work and can't do staff anymore. These are convenient and somehow low-key. Fun trying to see how the staff stuff translates, kinda like I'm relearning it.

Is it compatible with other saber parts to customise it?
@bluebomber814 ай бұрын
@@RainMakeR_Workshop in a lot of ways, yea. Like you can swap handle parts, but you have to keep the gold piece where the handle joins the cross piece cause it's different threads there. Pommels can be changed so long as they're male threaded, and same for emitters but you need female threads which is an issue for most emitters. You could work something out with connectors but would have been cool if this was a bit more flexible. Or if they make a crossguard that's not a replica but keeps this slimmer construction.
@RainMakeR_Workshop4 ай бұрын
@@bluebomber81 Cheers. Its the pommel and emitters I want to change too. I want more of a scent stopper or fishtail style pommel. And I wand tapered side emitters to there is less blade exposed to the wielder, whilst having more exposed to the opponent.
@bluebomber814 ай бұрын
@@RainMakeR_Workshop yea, it's pretty much threading that can be an issue. They do make male-male adapters, but only place I know they're available is Vire Sabers. Damiensaber might have them but haven't checked. At least the female-female you'd need for the emitters are everywhere. 👍
@RainMakeR_Workshop4 ай бұрын
@@bluebomber81 having a look at Vire Sabers and found a piece with a 35 degree angle curve. I wonder if the would be compatible with this to angle forward the side blades.
@bluebomber814 ай бұрын
@@RainMakeR_Workshop ah, yea had go give that a look, if you mean the VHC Curve, then yeah. Those should work for the sides. But after looking at the saber again I'm realizing the main emitter has the same matter about the threads being a larger diameter than usual parts. The baselit version has this pod in there the refracts the light but I guess they couldn't get it small enough. So, an issue there. But cool thing about Vire is you can email them and ask things, they'll actually test it. Those curve pieces should work, but it's better to know. They also have a discord in the 'contact us' part of their page. Lots of good ideas in there from guys always doing a lot of custom stuff with these parts. 👍

I have an SN-Pixel V4 saber, and I removed the SD card to update the firmware. After inserting the card into my Windows 11 PC it gave an error message saying that the card needed to be reformatted to be read. I declined the reformatting, as I did not want to lose the files on the card. After re-inserting the SD card into the saber and turning it on it will not work at all. No light, no sound, nothing. I would greatly appreciate it if you sent the original files, as the entire card has corrupted and the lightsaber now has none of the needed files. :(

Yea, I like it. Trying mostly to practice the catch. Also feel like doing a bit of the spinning smartly and slowly kinda helps with the tight muscles rather than avoiding movement. 🤔
@cbrsawyer6 ай бұрын
Do you have spins enabled on your config? I think you might enjoy them if not.
@bluebomber816 ай бұрын
I haven't tried it. Seems not many fonts actually use this. It's the only gripe I have really with proffie is just one accent swing along spins in the same direction. Figure there should be a way to change that, I'm just not up on it. 🤷♂🤷♂
@bluebomber816 ай бұрын
Hmm, tried the spins on some fonts that had files. Interesting idea, but they felt quiet compared to the swing sounds. But I think I might prefer being able to repeat the accent swings. The Xeno boards work like that and it's one of the few ways, or maybe the only way, I might find it preferable to proffie.
@cbrsawyer6 ай бұрын
No one really uses or cares about spins, but I think I’ve got them figured out (better at least). I’ve made spin.wavs for Thunder God by Kyberphonic, SpongeBob, and Conan. I’ll link a video to the Thunder God one. Works really well for flowing. You can keep the spin sound going as long as you’re smooth enough.
@bluebomber816 ай бұрын
@@cbrsawyer yea, I like the idea of it. I think it could probably benefit from a pre and postspin type mechanic like they have for lockup and all. Proffie could be a touch better for continuous flow, especially for a staff I think the spin stuff could do well there.
One set screw is plenty! Spin away! That’s a good looking hilt. That choke will be sweet for spinning.
@bluebomber816 ай бұрын
One screw for the blade has been fine, one for the core really hasn't been. Already have a brand new core splitting in the back. Now if the housings were more reasonably priced, like 5 for $10 rather than 1 for $10. I know I'm hard on these, and that would be a mercy, lol.
