LGT Saber & TXQ Saber - Xeno3 v. SNV4 accent swing comparison

Not much to go into deeply here, TXQ does have the ability to play these files, it's just not doing so properly. Hopefully a small fix.
LGT is nailing the sound. Except for how it never saves the set volume after powering off. It always comes back at full. Small issue, tho.
As far as the update to the TXQ app, doesn't seem like there's much to it other than more real-time updating for color changing from the palette. But it seems to crash the saber and then I have to pop battery when I use the color wheel but seems fine when using sliders.
Neat feature, but the update is a far cry from what was hinted at on their FB page. And that said 'coming soon' but this definitely isn't what they were showing. 🤔

Which one would you recommend? I've heard the snv4 has better sound quality and is more responsive. Do you feel a difference?

It's really hard to say. I feel like right now LGT is handling the function of playing the files properly, but the TXQ sound is still good. It's the accent swings that are holding it back here. Almost not a thing you'd even notice for typical lightsaber stuff, but for the other soundfonts it's a huge drawback. As far as responsiveness, it's a little harder to tell on the TXQ because I think their hums are naturally louder and it can drown out smaller movements. I can try a test on something without hums just to see how the swings sound alone, but I feel the differences here are going to be minor, if any. I feel like for sound, at the moment, LGT is just a bit ahead, but for pixel sabers if you want to customize blade effects than TXQ is the way to go.

Unfortunately, no. Definitely waiting for it, the board seems like it can make good sound, but it's just not quite there without that update. And it's been some months.. 😮‍💨
