dude, I miss the old (good) tie-in games, they were so charismatic, sad that the newer movies don't have them anymore (not like I watch many recent movies, i am a video game bitch, but still)

Yes, especially the ps2 era seems to have a lot of gems! Every once in a while we get a good game today but I do miss the charming, simple fun of older games. Have a lot more in the backlog I want to try! :)

Richter was actually the protagonist in a previous game, called Rondo of Blood. Symphony of the Night is basically a direct sequel to that game, so that might be why so much thought was put into Richter's moveset here?

@panghor Yes! All moves, abilities, species, evolutions, Stat spreads are randomized. Just one piece of the Kaizo IronMON ruleset, other difficult rules include you can only use one pokemon at a time, no grinding wild pokemon, no healing outside of battles, etc etc...

man I really love this game, it's not my favorite Castlevania game but it's a very special game to me, I'm so happy that even long after its release there are still new people discovering this game and recognizing how much effort was put into its creation, truly a game that should not be forgotten with time
