Phil seemed slightly uncomfortable but still kept his composure in the awkward situation. He's a class act. I didn't expect that comment from The Edge even though it was apparently a joke, but I would've expected it more to come from Bono if that was to be said anyway. I wonder how Don Henley or Shiela E. would've handled it. Perhaps the same.

Unfortunately, their success breed these snobs. And right about the time U2 was starting their descent, or more like a nose dive. Such a pity. 12 years of U2 can not matchup to a lifetime a truly unique and long lived band like Genesis. With decades long lasting classics that will and have, stood the test of time.
