What i really like about this adaptation is the music. It really ads to all the scenes. Frank Miller style is adapted beautifully and all the actors just fit like a glove. One of the best DC animated movies. Frank Miller gets a lot of shit but to me he'll forever be one of the greatest comic book writers of all time. DK2 Is still an interesting read and say what you will but he has a really "honest" style of writing that strays far away from being pretentious.

I prefer the Slater's version of the fantastic four then what we got. With some tweaks in the script I think it would've been the best fantastic four film we could have. BTW EMH is also my favorite Marvel animated series ever.

I think the movies fine for the most part but there’s 2 things that keep me from fully liking and preferring it to the comic. The boring art style and Batman letting Gilda go. Batman’s obsessive discipline and mentality wouldn’t just have him let Gilda get away with all this. This also applies to the comic I guess BUT she wasn’t the only holiday killer in the comic. He at least also got Alberto. Granted either way I believe that he would arrest them both but still. At least the book had him get half. And the art style dear god. The comics art was phenomenal some of the greatest ever but the movies took such a bland and boring look at it. All of the characters looks too bland and basic and don’t have that same energy that the book had.

While there’s no indication that all the DC animated movies made prior to Flashpoint were in the same universe. The Flashpoint Paradox does feel like a fitting end to the DC Original Animated Movies Pre-DCAMU.

Not gonna lie I've enjoyed almost every DC animated film up until the Tomorrowverse. I think the Tomorrowverse is when DC animation fell off. Which is a shame because animation has always been DC's thing. Hopefully they can go back to making legendary animated films. I would personally love to see a Kingdom Come animated film.
