My drive pack rattles whenever I’m in gravel terrain it is safely put in its place I even hear the click sound but as I said it rattles to much I’m not sure if its normal it seams like it’s a bit loose any suggestions ?
@Ausbbq015 ай бұрын
Does the alternative fit snug just the same as fitting the drive pack into the lower position?

Is the kinesis UK apart of KINESIS INDUSTRY CO.,LTD.? It seems these two brand has the same trademark.
@junglist_matty11 ай бұрын
They "work with" kinesis Taiwan (for the last 30 years)...Take from that what you will, but KinesisUK are a UK company and not the same as Kinesis Taiwan, they clearly have strong links.

@@junglist_matty well, I just hoping kinesis aisa can sale the frameset of kinesis UK. :/ UK corp has a very good gravel frame released 2 yrs ago, but not sales on the Asia market.

7 weeks out of the warranty period and my drivepack has just broken :(

There is no way on earth I can remove the pack as easily as shown on this video. I always have to pry it down with a flat screwdriver. The lock just doesn’t release enough
@CyclistChris Жыл бұрын
Adjust the locking mechanism. My bike mechanic did this for me at a service, as I could barely get the drivepack out of the frame.

I had the Fazua Evation system on my bike for 3 years. Loved it! However, I left my bike out one night and there was a heavy downpour. Next day, the system would not turn on. Ran the diagnostics and sent in to Fazua. They said, your battery is ruined. I was mad that they would not replace it (it was a year out of warranty), and they only said, it's got some rating for moisture exposure whose number I can't remember and that should not have happened. Well, it did happen! I'm sorely disappointed. And this happened when my bike was upright, not moving. What would have happened had I been riding in equally drenched conditions!?
@megane230f1 Жыл бұрын
look at it this way a fazua 50 is cheaper to replace than a shimano motor, i got 3000 miles out of a shimano e8000 motor before it packed up, its going to cost me in excess of a £1000 pounds to replace as its out of warranty my motor hasnt had a hard life with a fazua drive pack its going to cost you £350 pounds and thats it, this is the reason why fazua has been on my radar as, another reason your pack wasnt replaced was probably like me its out of warranty

Maddest of respect to Rupert and the other people who even attempted the ride. 2 things I don’t understand: 1. Being a mountainbiker, I can’t wrap my mind around why road bikes have those slow transmissions - aren’t they just absolutely horrendous for climbs? 2. WHAT ON EARTH did the 8 people do who finished before Rupert???

Richard, such an inspirational story. What you have come through is incredible and the fact you can now go out doing what you love with friends is testiment to your determination. Superbly shot and edited documentary. Take care Sir.

I suffered a brain injury when I was knocked off my bike by a drunk driver on Christmas Eve, as well as many broken bones, I was in hospital for nearly 6 weeks and my life was saved by a passing doctor and the air ambulance that he called. I’m still in recovery and have just started riding again. The brain injury aspect is probably the most frightening as I have no idea what the future holds. This film was hard to watch as it is so fresh to me but I thank you all for producing it - it can’t have been easy.

Hi Simon, thank you for sharing your story. I'm so sorry to hear about your accident. Brain injury is a scary subject, but know there are many people out there that can help. Glad to hear you are back riding again, it's these small wins that keep the motivation up and drive to push forward. I hope you recovery continues and maybe see you out on the road sometime.
