Maddest of respect to Rupert and the other people who even attempted the ride. 2 things I don’t understand: 1. Being a mountainbiker, I can’t wrap my mind around why road bikes have those slow transmissions - aren’t they just absolutely horrendous for climbs? 2. WHAT ON EARTH did the 8 people do who finished before Rupert???
