I read once that at James Cagney's funeral, the church was filled to overflowing and many were standing outside. When his casket was carried through the doors, the entire group outside burst into applause - an appropriate send off for a great song and dance man. Thank you, Mr. Cagney. To me, you will always be George M.

Calling it the Congressional Medal of Honor is incorrect. It was a Congressional Gold Medal, which Congress honored civilians with from time to time.

Orson Welles was adamant in his belief that James Cagney was the greatest actor to ever appear in front of a camera. Well, there has been a few more actors come along since Welles made that statement in 1974. Fifty years later I think Welles belief about Cagney is still true. My maternal grandmother was born in 1894 and three of her brothers went “over there”. This George M. Cohan song is one that grandma would sing to me when I was a boy (early 1960s). All those years later, I can close my eyes and hear her voice - “Over there, over there”. By the way, all three of her brothers came back.

For some reason that song over here or there it just straight to note with me and I get extremely emotional it’s like the national anthem and you hear the words it just strikes a note where you get emotional I watch Yankee doodle Dandy on every Fourth of July. it makes me very patriotic, but I’m wondering as I say that if Trump got in none of this would happen little bit, that would be normal Yankee Doodle dandy no one would feel patriotic because we’d be under a dictator ship and all of that we’ll just all go away Arlington national cemetery just because everybody there that just nothing to him the US will no longer be a US. I just can’t imagine that be in a concentration camp, because I’m a Jew.
