God it must be so frustrating dealing with or reading the complaints-comments from those individuals who know better than you. Not the ones whose experiences lead to a better product, as thats a good thing obviously, but the arm chair engineers, or those who just don’t understand your engineering philosophies. Can see it in your video actually but thats good, we know the standard that you produce and the reasoning behind it. This will be the first thing I purchase for my new 24 GW DCT from you. I’m in Australia so just waiting to get the freight cost saved, against the other projects currently on the go. (BMW K1300S 2015). It’s so good to find such a high quality company against all the low quality, not fit for purpose ‘Chinesium’ suppliers out there.

Talk about arm chair engineers... there's a couple of ding dongs that say this plate will overheat the engine! If it does anything, it's a cooling fin! Oh no! It will make the engine run cold!!! Oh No!!!!!!!!!!

What about those of us with a chain drive sport bike, brand new, never dropped but still pulls to the LEFT? Can adjusting the axle compensate or will this cause other problems?
@TraxxionКүн бұрын
You need to get a tool that accurately measures from the swingarm pivots to the center of the axle to get your alignment spot on. If it still pulls, then you have a defective frame from the factory.

Hey Max good afternoon I just would like to know if you can help me with a question that I have I have a 20/20 on the Gold Wing DCT I removed the tire from my wheel in the front without a problem now I'm trying to put it back in with the axle is giving me a hard time to put it through any suggestions
@Traxxion8 күн бұрын
Make sure pinch bolts are fully loose. Look through the wheel and make sure the inner spacer hasn't moved out of place. You may need to put the axle through first to align it and then put the wheel on. You might have to wiggle the axle to get it started through the spacer.
@phillipvazquez2848 күн бұрын
@@Traxxion I have been working on this for 2 days so here what I did I I removed the pinch bolts After I came back from having my tire installed I first tried to only insert the axle with out the tire it didn't go in and still don't. So I gave up this shouldn't be that difficult
@phillipvazquez2848 күн бұрын
@@Traxxion I didn't do anything extra just removed the tire then came back to try installing it.i can't seem to understand with or with out it it's not going all the way in . The only thing that stays sticking out is some of the axle about a portion of a thumb size.
@Traxxion8 күн бұрын
@@phillipvazquez284 see if it will go in backwards. The whole head of the axle should pass through the hole. If it doesn't, you have some dent, burr, damage on the head of the axle or in the hole. Same thing from the other side, try and figure out which side the problem is.

Max, your instructions made the whole installation a piece of cake (it helps that tech is my happy place). Took my DCT Tour out for a spin and the performance is now on par, and in some ways better, with my 2014 BMW K1600 GT I used to have, which I thought was the Goldwing’s only shortcoming compared the Beemer. This tune hits the spot! I bought mine directly from BT Moto because I didn’t know at the time you are a dealer. Sorry about that.

Interesting. I never got on my bike and felt like the levers were too long. What's the advantage for a short lever?
@Traxxion19 күн бұрын
There is a known danger... if your handlebars are in the stock location (no risers or setbacks) and you have your mirrors folded in and go to move your bike (out of garage or parking space) and you turn the wheel to the left, the brake lever will hit the mirror, lock the wheel and you will fall straight to the ground.
