My mother calls these scenarios "angel sightings", someone who blips in and out of your world but leaves you with something. Youd think a bored local would EVENTUALLY come back some day! Wild stuff. My mother tells a story of my birth where a nurse she had never seen before came into her room and said "pick a spot on the wall and just focus on it. Nothing else. Before you know it your child will be here" she left the room and was never seen again. No painkillers, delivery went quickly with no problems.
