Barbarian is really good! The theme of the class is to be aggressive, reaching high injury, and quickly killing the opponent before injury takes effect. I’ve had a barb run where I stacked 677 HP as well!

Thank you for doing this. Changing limited and phantom rules is kinda broken. It only lasts for the combat t guys it’s kind of a “win more” option but it is absolutely ridiculously strong

can you write how you gain abyss by playing exert cards? i have everything unlocked in the tree and that never happened to me, are you sure it isnt a8 "distorted effect intensifies"? iridescent rays looks at your mana after it is cast to decide the damage so with 6 mana, 2 void and one red, blue, green and black you get the rainbow 4 effect

The bleed sword. It is not a stone-pull event, you roll to assist a blacksmith in forging it. I'll always take it if I'm red or blue deck, and update it to double phantom.

I know it's been a while since you uploaded, but I have some book recommendations in fantasy and fiction ^^ Fantasy: 'Babel' , 'Mistborn' series (huge commitment though) and 'daindreth's assassin' (also a lot of books) are my favorites. Fiction: 'tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow' (extra nice of you like gaming) and 'A little life' (that's what I'm reading now but it's amazing)

you have been talking about curse deck in a couple of videos, did you ever give it a go? im not sure what going full curse deck means but whenever i can pick up the 3 basic dark cards, i do and it never goes wrong (i might need scalpel if i dont get the leech), when abyss shows in stage 1 i take as many as i can down to half max hp i have also tried going into the purple mist to see what i can find and i saw some cool cards that cost max hp to use but has some powerful effects like costing 4 max hp, healing 40 hp and costing green and dark mana one run i got down to 17 max hp and got to the tentacle boss with 1/17 hp and i still won because i had awesome draw just at ascension 2 though lol there is a secret mist goose boss that is even more annoying because it counters every other card you cast

it took me a little while to get barbarian but i got a fun mana overflow run with mostly ignoring injury and removing the early cards, thanks for the help another thing, i got 3 summon items that says "when combat starts" but then they kept spawning more after those first 3, how does that work? bug?

every run gets even more insane than the last will try some of these lessons next time i play later today

do those changes only last for the combat? or can you just change draw and mana limit to 8 when you first upgrade the one die to buff yourself for the rest of the game?

I keep plaing this because, just when I think I've seen everything, I encounter a new event or card. Just today, I got the event where I give the good boy his pets, but this time was handed the 'Determination' card, and that gave my deck a sorely needed power boost.

i just skipped to the end and i was so stunned at the cards you have and how your build plays how long did it take you to beat the last boss the first time? i have gotten there like 3 times on sage but i just dont know how to get the damage required do you need all upgrades to even have a chance?

I think you can afford to be less mist conscious tbh!! I totally like to take the extra upgrade or smth in exchange for losing 10 life or whatever

90 minute runs * 20 ascensions * 6 classes is insane lmao, hundreds of hours!!!! Pretty bad idea to have 20 ascension levels for each class imo

One thing I'm wondering, haven't started progressing through the ascensions yet, but can't you reroll the cards in the victory screen any more in ascension 8+? Or are you purposefully limiting yourself, hence the no build straight luck? You can also just not take a card, no one's forcing anyone, took me a while to realize I was making baseless assumptions from playing other deckbuilders. You can also just reroll your mana if you need more, also increases the maximum, although I also have no idea if the ascension level affects this. My favorite is to get a D20 and mess with the cards, if you get a mint it can be managed. Iron stomach is king as well, some crazy cursed relics you can make for no negatives. Also, being in the mist for 1 round isn't an issue, haven't tried longer, I've had way more disastrous random events. Also, heard about Dylan Burns? Your mannerisms when speaking are uncannily similar, but your voice is slightly different. He's a proper independent war journalist now, which I don't think anyone would've expected a few years ago.

About the starting relic of the Pro: you get blue mana when you PAY a red mana (but not necessarily when you PLAY a red card). * So in a typical turn you need to convert your neutral mana first to make use of it BTW I like the hour-long format

I know exactly what you mean! This game has so much chaos, which can be fun but also a little annoying. My favourite characters so far have been sage and pro because it feels like you can have a little more control with them than the other characters. (Also I love to read as well. There are some middle-grade fiction books that don't feel like they're talking down to the reader that I enjoy, like "the Westing Game" and "Ok, For Now", but I also really love the classics, Twain, Dostoevsky, etc.) Another thing: if you use dice on a card that already uses dice naturally, the dice on the card will just change to your level of one dice.
