That is a good question - I've never had anything against it personally either! 😁 The memes about it laughed at the simplicity and lack of originality, I suppose. Ever since I saw them I thought of making an alternative to that mini, and this video is the result! Funnily enough, it came out rather simple too, but at least it was made without spending a lot on the original kit - so if somebody doesn't like the original that much, but still needs a chaplain, at least they can follow along and get one for less 😁

Runic Grey for the trousers, Cloudburst Blue for the coat, Grim Black for the... black, and Pallid Bone for the wraps around his legs. Oh, and Slaughter Red for the cloak, Dark Wood for the backpack. Hope this helps!

So you mix paint and soda, then you paint it? Would using the color you want (say brown) to mix with the soda make a brown paste, and skin a step, letting me go directly to wash and drybrush?

Overall I like the kitbash. I would have rather seen something a little heavier for the head if the crozius, and he is lacking a Rosarius. Even with those caveats i still want to see him painted up!

Great conversion ! ! ! The Crosius shaft, very clever, the double headed eagle is missing though, I would have used the halo as a topper with the eagle underneath it.. I love the knee treatment. I will definitely give that a try, keep up the great work ! ! !
