@@Diesel0807 the first, and only other time I was fortunate enough to see them was on the For Those About to Rock we Salute you tour in 1981. Angus came out into the crowd and I got to touch his left arm. Can’t believe he used to risk his safety. Needless to say it was an amazing show. Everybody was at the top of their game. They’re still legends and icons! AC⚡️DC Forever😈

Most of the set is tuned down a semitone as usual, but three songs (Thunderstruck, You Shook Me, H to H) are in A440. Does anyone know why?
@seethroughhead505
@seethroughhead505 Жыл бұрын
@@pringles4312 The band have been playing the songs in a lower musical key that they were originally recorded. This helps Brian to sing them. They did this at this concert, but they also performed three songs back in the original, higher key.
@goldenchest2000
@goldenchest2000 Жыл бұрын
@@seethroughhead505Yes! I noticed that too. It was extremely odd, considering they had played those 3 songs a semitone down during the BI and the ROB tour (before Axl). Perhaps it was because the band wanted a few songs in their original keys and Brian picked the ones he thought he could sing? Who knows.

@@goldenchest2000 Thanks for responding. I wonder whether there's more to it - it's notable that the three songs in question are arguably the band's best known. Maybe there's a commercial/business motivation behind it. Perhaps, somehow, through computer algorithms, or something, they'll generate more revenue in the original key. Just speculation!

😂 - FYI… I don’t look through any screen at a show; I just hit the record button. hold my camera pointed in the same general direction toward the stage, up against my chest, occasionally above my head, and jam-out dude. The iPhone’s stabilization software does its thing, and I do mine. The videos are for: 1.) all my friends and family back in Texas who couldn’t come; and, 2.) the videos are for me, when I’m older, no longer able to walk, and my cognitive impairment progresses, I’ll have all these concert videos to help me enjoy and recall the awesome sites and sounds later. I learned of this when I had a Stroke and began diving into the literature (academic research studies) Many academic studies have already shown how music and concert footage from your favorite music is therapeutic and useful in treating dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Which begs the question: why were you watching my videos in the first place. Let’s try and be a little more kind to one-another (we Americans need to stop the divisiveness, and start acting like a family again. We’re all blessed to live in this wonderful country, we’re all one big beautiful American Family, and we need to remember that now more than ever. The rest of the world is on fire right now - let’s not stoop to lower levels. Be kind, and others will see you do it, and others will follow. This is America: we can do it; but I appreciate the feedback, and I resisted recording for many years, but realized after my Stroke a couple years ago that I might like to keep them as a potential therapy to help with aging and declining cognition. That said my friend, I hope you enjoyed the show as much as we were! ✌️🎸 PS: I can assure you that all of section 202 were on their feet, Rockin’ & Rolling and partying for three straight days with six of the finest bands alive today…. Everyone was exhausted, but that never kept folks from partying like Rock Stars, singing and dancing…. This was my 20th AC/DC show since 1985, and 14th Metallica show since Master of Puppets when they toured with Ozzy for The Ultimate Sin show at The Summit in Houston, TX. I thought things went well, except Sat night, when AC/DC were having sound issues (you might’ve noticed that as well - I was standing next to the sound mixing and stage lighting controls and could see them frantically trying to fix the problem (even had technicians checking cabling connections and they eventually got it working. But Metallica travels with a team from Sony, who are very good at what they do, and they do things a bit differently. I could see a much smoother production on Sunday with Metallica. Just an observation. Rock On…!!!!!

@@sciontc9240 I have every single one of AC/DC’s albums, every Metallica album as well - and I love them all. And, Saturday night was my 20th AC/DC show (and Sunday, my 14th Metallica show) spanning from 1985 to the present - it’s a genuine pleasure to have both bands still kicking our asses at their respective shows and ages - I’m in my mid 50’s, and I partied like a rock Star, left it all on the field (and paying for it today - but this was a festival, so a bit laid-back maybe, a little high maybe, a few beers, lots of water… but I know everyone around me in sec 202 were drenched and jamming! I appreciate your feedback, and welcome to my collection of decent concert footage (from many bands) - maybe you’ll see some other shows in my channel that you like better. I suggest the video from the Metallica show recorded / posted to my KZbin channel in 2017 from NRG/Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas. ✌️🎸
