yeah when I saw them in 2008 it was before everyone had smart phones so nobody was on the phone.. the crowd was just jumping and singing all the lyrics the whole concert. The energy of the crowd that night has not been matched at any other concert I've been to since then besides metallica when I saw them in 2009. It's sad because it's definitely more fun when the crowd is going nuts. No one knows how to live in the moment these days.

Most of the set is tuned down a semitone as usual, but three songs (Thunderstruck, You Shook Me, H to H) are in A440. Does anyone know why?

@@pringles4312 The band have been playing the songs in a lower musical key that they were originally recorded. This helps Brian to sing them. They did this at this concert, but they also performed three songs back in the original, higher key.

@@seethroughhead505Yes! I noticed that too. It was extremely odd, considering they had played those 3 songs a semitone down during the BI and the ROB tour (before Axl). Perhaps it was because the band wanted a few songs in their original keys and Brian picked the ones he thought he could sing? Who knows.

@@goldenchest2000 Thanks for responding. I wonder whether there's more to it - it's notable that the three songs in question are arguably the band's best known. Maybe there's a commercial/business motivation behind it. Perhaps, somehow, through computer algorithms, or something, they'll generate more revenue in the original key. Just speculation!
