Clay Hart …what a voice! The best male country singer on the Welk show. A voice like pure velvet! I wish he and Sally had never left the show. What a fun bunch of people!

This is a great channel. This is a wonderful service you're providing uploading Lawrence Welk episodes, especially by doing it every Saturday to go along with the classic tradition of Lawrence Welk on Saturday night. 1 episode in particular that I was just curious about is the March 15, 1958 episode. I happen to favor the black and white episodes the most and was just curious if you have the March 15, 1958 black and white episode to upload to you tube at some time in the future. If you don't have it, it's perfectly fine because you've uploaded tons of other wonderful Lawrence Welk episodes and it's understandable if you don't have it because it hasn't been on PBS, at least on the station I get, for almost 25 years now, so because of how long it's been it is very much understandable if you don't have it.

I'll have to check to see if I have that. I have already posted most of my old episodes.

This was one of my dad's favorite shows. I think this episode was from the last season. I remember they always had Geritol commercials.

Oh...every episode is special, but there's just something extra about the 50s episodes! Thanks for uploading this and preserving it...and thanks for always indexing all of the songs (is that the right term?)...it makes it SO much easier for me to share particular songs with my mom, replay them for myself...and gives a little sneak peak! It's really appreciated!

Curious - when the 3 guys were playing the pianos, it looked like Myron Floren was doing something with his hands in front of a mike. What was it?

Thanks for keeping this music alive. My favorite part is 18 year old Buddy Merrill playing the iconic Fender Stratocaster 🎸 about 6 months after it was introduced and 2 years before Buddy Holly hit the scene and really made that guitar famous. If you look closely, you can see BUDDY MERRILL in stickers on the pickguard. How cool is that? I feel strongly that this tv show was the debut of the Fender Stratocaster 🎸 on American TV 📺 . Thanks again for the upload.
