So happy to check in here for my latest "Welk Fix" ;o) Back on our farm in Minnesota, I was a little energy pill of 8 years young when this fine family entertainment came on each Saturday evening. Dad would have the milking of our Holstein herd completed and we'd have the farm house doors and windows open to let the late spring/early summer breezes float through our Living Room while we enjoyed dear old Lawrence Welk!!! Thanks so much for finding these black n white classics to share here!!! ;o)

I could put myself in that picture. I miss those days of family, love and laughter. I appreciated all the times when I was growing up. I knew they would someday be a beautiful memory and I wanted to stop the clock and stay. How I wish I could go back. Those were the most wonderful times of my life.
