Hi Yvette, I am an international student from Vietnam who is applying for some US universities for Class of 2027 (which is this August), and I have a question regarding proving my financial stability to study abroad. My dad and mom combined income in VND is somewhere around 12k$, not a lot and I'm fully aware of this. Our family does not have any savings but we do have a year to prepare for it before I'm applying for visa. The big question is: If I'm studying on a full scholarship (including everything from tuition + living expenses + plane tickets), would the embassy still look at my family's financial status to decide on whether to grant me a visa? I do not find this information elsewhere on this Internet, so I would love if you are able to answer this!

I have a question, I have a UK visa that I want to attach in the application as travel history but it’s in my first passport actually with my first passport there was a mistake made in my middle name, but I have a new one currently with the correct names so I was wandering if I could still upload the visa in the old passport but attach an affidavit to show that my name was spelt wrongly in my first passport and that I have a new one now?

(Not the ones around the neck with the memoji) but the ones that let you open the doors and stuff and has your employee number on it like the corporate employees? I'm only asking because I was just in california and the receptionist at HQ said I could go in even as a UK employee if I had my employee badge Thanks :)
