But I think Maidstone’s because they have a lower pitch sound it doesn’t sound as nice in my opinion.

I do think these are better then all saints bells in Maidstone they just are a bit lighter and have a nicer higher tone sound.

Classic Taylors, they mastered simpson tuning and i love Taylor 8s. I think Westbury are probably to 8s whatcYourkminster is to 12s. Somany good 8s around especially in Yorkshire.

Yep! I've been playing MInecraft for quite a long time now, and worked on the same world since April 2013. It's basically an entire country now...! And that's totally fair enough. It's not for everyone.

Thank you. I'm really quite proud of it. I've been working on the monastic buildings since, and I ended up building the Tudor Gothic mansion that was incorporated as well. I probably won't do a download of it for a while but I might at some point. Also, Thursday's Minecraft video might be of interest as well...

How many miner hours did that take to create? It looks like months of work.

I spent about 8 hours or so building it in total, over about three days.

perhaps Visit a church in checkley in staffordshire they have six bells in G 9cwt tenor and their anticlockwise, and the 4th can be tricky to chime properly

Speaking of "Great Bede" nobody has ever filmed that bell in action athough sources indicate this 5 ton bourdon's note is a G BTW is this the only bell in the tower?

No they haven't. There's one, albeit poor quality, recording of the bell being struck. It sounds rather glorious. Yes, Emmanuel is the only bell in its tower. ProfMoose jokingly said that it needed eleven smaller ones to make a big ring of twelve...!

Thank you very much. BelfryCam certainly caught it perfectly. You should have seen me positioning it, I spent about 5 minutes making sure the framing was right!! It is such a satisfying bell to ring. Sounds amazing and booms brilliantly.

@@RingerJake I love bells like this. Must admit I would love to see Great Paul have the Canons removed and then Simpson tuned. There is a bell in the bell tower in Perth called the Anzac bell, it was cast here in Australia but tuned by Nigel Taylor, it sounds truly amazing.
