Thanks for making this video. Been needing to change the oil in my X900 for too long and this will make it easy to do (in theory anyways). Wish I did not have to remove the skid plate but.... ah well.

I bought mine used. Before I even started using it I had to mess with those switches. Damnit. And the rod inside the hydraulic housing got rusted out

I expect this mower will last several seasons with decent care. kzbin.infoUgkx1VWTrayKBdCKAjzAcZ_Eg4dhHTae3LkN also recommend Also, I ran across the problem with it not starting the 2nd time I used it. There is a safety switch which is pushed in by the chute or mulching piece being attached to the deck. I took the cover off and it wouldn't start. Put it back on, no problem. It takes only a minute with 2 easily accessible wingnuts and no tools. This mower starts up first crank each time and it is a joy to use. It also mows in reverse by putting the key to the reverse area after starting and pushing in the triangular button. It will stay in reverse mode until you turn it off. All in all, for my homeowner needs, I really like this mower-and at 70 bucks a cut here in Miami, it's already more than 1/3 paid for itself in a month.

Bought the exact same mower. I figured these issues out on my own. But other than that. A great mower. I’m buying another one soon!

Thank you for posting. There was grass between the handles and the outer side of the handle box. Needed a long screw driver to clean it out as could not really see it. Then wiped down area with safety switches on both sides of handle assembly inside the mower. Then opened and closed handles several times. Worked like a charm. Grateful to God for all of you that post how to fix these problems.Thank you for doing the good Lords work.

I have a new RTV X900 - the oil filter is on so tight I caould not get it off. Kind of weird when they tell you to hand tighten and then add 1/2 turn. This one acts like its welded on. What a pain in the rear.
@mkemark2 жыл бұрын
I have an RTV-X900 too, the first oil change was a challenge. The factory installed filter was incredibly tight and may have gone on before the engine was painted so it may have been "glued on" and/or torqued too much at the factory. 2nd oil change was a breeze. FYI, another thing I found is that even though my garage floor is level I jacked up the back of the UTV and got about another cup of oil out of it while I was draining the pan.

I've had the same problem with the micro switches. Also, there's no way my seat will tilt all the way forward like yours does. The seat safety switch cable doesn't have enough slack in it the way yours does. I've also just thrown a deck belt off the electric clutch. It's a 2019 model 48" flip up.

Yes,🌼 allabout.wiki/Hustler the bag fills up pretty quickly when there are lots of leaves and I guess that is expected. It is quick to take the leaf catching bag off and put it back on. There is one bar with rubber ends that fits into a slot (bottom), one bar with angled ends that hangs on rubber hooks (top), and two stretchy loops that each hang on a rubber hook (one each side). You can hold the leaf catching bag with one hand full and not drop any leaves. It is NOT easy to empty it into a lawn bag without spilling. My trick: I put two lawn bags side-by-side in a large garbage bin and emptied the leaf catching bag into them. What spills falls into the garbage bin. 90% of the leaves end up in the bags this way with 0% back on the lawn.

A Super M-TA was a great tractor in its day. The Torque Amplifier provided more power and slower speed when needed. Good for PTO powered combines. Good also for a PTO powered baler and a PTO powered silage chopper. Great for plowing, also, when heavier soil was encountered in the field. The TA feature was continued in the following IH product line the "hundred series" tractors.

Mine when putting the deck all the way up the plug would come off the switch to engage the blades
@markklement49945 жыл бұрын
Mine would throw the belt their update was putting about a 1/4" plate on top of the deck under the pulleys so there wasn't a big space for the belt to get caught haven't had a belt come off since
