That last statement is true for those of us in the restaurant industry as well. You can multitask the entire floor, and balance a tray full of food and drinks like a cat on a fence, but if your attitude and service mind are lacking, you won’t be a good server. Being a good server is defined by how people feel from the moment they enter to the moment they leave. Not by how well you can balance a tray. :) Also, I’m a voice actor, and want to know what company they hired this narrator from.

Mabe with the japenese coastguard plane and Japanese passenger plane maybe even though thed been to ld to hold short of Charlie 5 they maybe thought were on emergency relief work we have priority yesterday they did but the passenger plane was on final literally fifty feet or so off landing and planes coming in to land have priority it sounds as though it was a self importance belief that killed them

Why didn't the ATC controllers at 9/11 use the word expedite to land blah now instead thed got bemused pilots saying on this video if ATC that day I was landing blah and Controllers saying you are not landing blah on you're going blah I guess. they told them once they were down. I suppose they naturally thought any plane they were speaking to was potentially an hijacked one but they would soon have known the plane crew was still in charge as there's only aeinitical people who would know what ghatterm ment I didn't know what it ment

People who work in tower (TWR, GND, DEL) often stare at their screens and provide clearances. It's not common for controllers to look outside the window often as every vehicles and aircraft are visible on the GPS.

A year and a half before the Überlingen mid-air collision, a similar Japan Airlines mid-air incident occurred in Japan. Fortunately, the Japanese pilots were able to avoid the accident due to their last-minute maneuvering. However, the ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) was slow to act on this case and did not share it with the rest of the world.

Seems runway incurisons happen often due to pilot not know their position or does not understand/follow ATC's instructions proplerly. So, it gets me thinking .. why is there no Google Maps equivalent for Pilots that uses instructions from frequency to craft a path step-by-step for Pilots to follow? Reducing dependency on them to memorize or second guess the commands? Essentially leverages digital communication in addition to radio to get better situational awareness? @atcforyou what tools or systems exist out there to help redudce RIs?

What an intriguing title, "Airport Lighting - You Must Know [ATC for You]!" It's fantastic to see content that delves into the specifics of airport operations, especially something as crucial as lighting. Airport lighting plays such a vital role in guiding pilots during takeoff and landing, and it's fascinating to learn more about how these systems work to ensure safety and efficiency in air travel. The inclusion of ATC (Air Traffic Control) in the title suggests a comprehensive look into how air traffic controllers and lighting systems work in harmony. It's great to see educational content like this that sheds light on the complexities of aviation! 🛫💡🌌

The required knowledge for airport lighting includes understanding the different types of lighting systems, such as runway edge lights, airport beacons, approach lighting systems, and pilot-controlled lighting. Pilots should know how to activate and adjust the intensity of runway lights using the appropriate frequency. They should also be familiar with the markings and colors used to identify different lighting elements, such as green lights marking the beginning of a runway and red lights marking the end. Additionally, pilots should be aware of the regulations and guidelines regarding airport lighting, including the responsibility to comply with proper preflight planning and the importance of checking NOTAMs for operational status.
