I got locked in Parsons Branch Road years ago. Somehow the gate in the cove was open but the gate at 129 was locked. Sat about three hours waiting for the gate fairy to arrive and release us. Three other cars had followed me, I guess to keep me company during the incarceration.

@@Boom44cal It's cringe, I'll give you that. I had just started making videos, and I really didn't know which direction I wanted to go on the channel. I was learning how to edit too. Heck, I can give you 50 things I hate about this video. I'm not sure I'd call it a crock. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate your opinion, and enjoy the conversation. I've read quite a bit about the Canaanite altars. But that's not what the video was about. It was about the official history Federal Reserve. If we go back to Jekyll I might make a Canaanite Altars. Thanks for watching and thanks for commenting.

@BillMarion it's history is shrouded in darkness, and I don't mean just metaphorically. Isn't the etymology of the word Jekyll tied to the ancient shekels? I could be wrong. Thanks for your reply. Not meaning to discourage. Just need more on this. Knowledge should always increase! 🙏

Nah, it's not too bad. I made the video to get the word out about this amazing road. When you're back there during a storm, it's kind of spooky, and makes for some fun lighthearted entertainment. As far as mountain roads go, this one isn't too spooky. It might be hard to believe, but the Blue Ridge Parkway at night can be kind of spooky in certain areas. Thanks for watching!

Why do people find these roads spooky??? Are they just not used to being outdoors or in deep woods? I grew up in the Northern Sierra Mountains and the Smokies, to me, where the most gentle, rolling "mountains" I've ever visited. I'm used to a lot harsher mountains. I don't know, nothing about this road is spooky to me. It's beautiful, but again. I grew up driving around old logging roads around Mount Shasta.

I agree. I made this video to showcase this amazing road. If you scroll through the comments a lot of people who visit the Cove, never knew it was there. It's a little "spooky" during a storm. I used the word "spooky," and not "scary" because spooky is more Scooby Doo than Vampires or something like that. Thanks for watching!

I live in Ontario Canada. I remember as a kid our big family vacation every years was driving from Toronto to Chicago to visit Dad's relatives. Along the (Ontario provincial highway) 401 we had service centres which were just like services plazas along your toll routes. with gas and food. Though many of them do have rest areas with picnic tables next to them, though they're only open during the late spring, summer and early fall. Once we crossed into Michigan and took I-94, we'd use the rest areas for bathroom breaks and go to sitdown restaurants (like Bill Knapps) for lunch. It was after we got our dogs that we used the rest areas more, getting take out from fast food places like Arby's, driving to the rest areas and eating there. I also remember once we reached Chicago getting on the Tristate Tollway/I-294 and being amazed by the oases being built overtop the highway. Thanks for the great vid! 👍

I am originally from East Tennessee. My favorite place on earth. Many of those areas are secluded because the people who settled there didn't want to be found by British soldiers. They learned to live in the mountains and many didn't and maybe don't want to be disturbed by outsiders. I love how the Appalachias have stayed true to their roots and has not been ruined by progress. The people are some of the greatest in the world. The quiet gives you a chance to see God's workmanship and the silence allows you to talk to Him and hear Him speak to you.

Meh. I left Nashville almost 5 years ago now. Many in the real music scene have. California has moved in and is taking over. They've marred the local neighborhoods beyond repair. They've had music venues literally in eye sight of music row shut down because they had live music on their patio at night. Get that? They moved to Music City USA, bought a place literally at music row, then got mad because there was music at night that they could hear. . . . that is only a tiny smattering of the idiotic changes that the uncontrolled expansion of Nashville has caused and many of us left. There is now a solid cadre of old-school Nashville writers, players, producers, engineers, etc. that have relocated to a different city on the down-low and have bought up the good spots to prevent big music industry cats from hogging them and are happily thriving in an artistic environment that focuses on MUSIC instead of MONEY again. I bought two condos and a small house there. I rent the condos to visiting artists for cheap and keep the small house for myself when I visit. ( _I'm retired now_ ). BEAUTIFUL city. Cool people. And so far we've all been able to keep word from getting out and ruining our good thing. California is a cancer and its people are cancer cells spreading its disease. Fortunately there are few here and those few are watched like hawks. Nashville is a facade now. I still have a boat load of friends there working in the machine and they hate it. Johnny Cash had it right.

What’s up! We use to blast tourists with fire extinguishers and sneak in through the fence behind Chaos near the hotel or girls would lick our lips and then our hands to transfer their season pass holder stamps and get us in for free. Me, Sloane, Nick, Tony, Carter, Whitley, Andrew. We’d sneak girls in and make out, they’d steal cigarettes and beer, everyone was smoking and drinking in 8th grade. I got my first blowie on the gondola. It was Nashville’s version of KIDS. There I told the truth but didn’t name names who lost their virginity at what ride. ❤ blame us, we were wild and unsupervised latch key delinquents from all the area public and private junior high schools showing our privates in public haha getting senior citizen high on aluminum coke cans catching Alzheimer’s way early for better or for worst the way this world evolved. “What you really know about the dirty south?” If you want more of the scoop, hmu, I am taking interviews now that most the original Nashvillains have passed away. RIP eighties babies!!! We are the inside scoop haha - if you want the low down and dirty from River Stages to 328 performance hall to dancing in the district love circle the Parthenon and Vanderbilt to legislative plaza XXX and Q-zar from rivergate sk8 to Hendersonville from Starwood amphitheater to KDF from mcgavok to father Ryan berry hill to Hume fogg Hillsboro to Whitehouse the 8th Day raves to laser quest karma and the hip hop and hemp shop I got you covered haha
