We used to go to Rock City when I was little. I always looked forward to going through the little cave that had different colored class windows. Plus the fairyland was always something I liked as well.

We went there for Christmas last year. We've been there 3 or 4 times, but that was the first time ever at Christmas. It's worth every penny and fighting the crowds. Air quality or curvature has some to do with not being able to see 7 states. But more so the fact that Alabama is behind you (not beside you like the sign depicts) is why you can't see 7 states. The mountain blocks the view towards Alabama. Either way, its still one of my favorite roadside attractions.

Rock City is Disney on how expensive the entrance is, and the crowds. I would go again if there is clear weather.
