I think the potential for a NEW Kirby game in 2025 that reuses assets and builds off the ground work of Forgotten Land is possible, though I could see it being held off until 2026. What I absolutely think will happen, though, is either a remake on Switch in 2025 or a spin off. Kirby releases do tend to crop up near the end of a console’s lifespan, usually spin offs and remakes. So I would not be surprised if we got another Mass Attack style game as a stop gap between now and the next new one.

While its been about 3 years since I've seen I remember seeing something saying HAL dev team got a bit smaller do to contracting issues. How ever it could also mean 2 things #1 Hal is making a new game maybe not related to Kirby #2 Maybe they acquired Super Smash Bro's and working on the next one for the up coming console. But it to early to tell we just need to wait.

my theory: i think it would be more complicated, so i think it would be more like spinn-offs then mainline games that would become 3D or a mode (like Kirby 3D rumble.). But like a real mainline game should durn long cause Kirby is a videogameseries when more 2D games are there. So i think it would be for kirby's 45th anniversary. So heres a boring math thing: 1992 + 44 = 2036 so it's gotta take a long time in 2036. But a new kirby game is like 1 mainline and 1-2 spinnoffs in all of the 2 years. But since it is an anniversary then u can get lots of new things. Conclusion: i think it would be at kirby's 45th anniversary cause 3D games are pretty hard to program and the character designing is something very random and we need a good plot so yea.

I'd say late 2025 to early 2026 is the best timeframe, but I'd let Hal cook as long as they need. I don't think we'll get another Mainline AND a spinoff buffer and then ANOTHER game in the early months of the new year after that, 2022 was a special year, but basically I'm happy whenever.

I'm on Team 2025 because Okay, Kirby and the Forgotten Land was such a really good 3D Kirby game HAL made for Switch and I actually beat it 100% so I hope the sequel for Kirby and the Forgotten Land would do so much better on Switch 2 cause maybe the story could be about The Ancients that made the Master Crown and the Lor StarCutter try to take over Kirby's Planet, Planet Popstar as Kirby and his friends help save his planet from the Ancients and then they could give us new copy abilities and upgrades, new mouthful modes, new worlds, new levels, and new playable characters like King Dedede, Meta Knight, and Clawroline. And also some of Kirby's other friends like the Animal Buddies, Ribbon, Adeleine, Marx, Magolor, Taranza, Susie, and The Three Mage Sisters. I'm excited to see a new 2D Kirby Game for Switch 2 if it happens cause maybe the next one could take place after Kirby Star Allies or after Forgotten Land but I don't know but hopefully it goes good and I don't know if we do need a new Female Kirby Character to be in the next new 2D or 3D Kirby Game. I hope to see some new Kirby Spinoffs like a sequel to Kirby Air Ride, a Kirby RPG, a Kirby Party, a port or remake of Kirby's Epic Yarn, or a remake or port of Kirby Battle Royale. But it would be cool for HAL to bring back the three Kirby Characters from Kirby Right Back At Ya to be in future Kirby Games like Tiff, Tuff, and Escargoon. And for the remakes and remasters for Kirby it would be cool for HAL to do full-on remakes of both Kirby Triple Deluxe and Kirby Planet Robobot which would be cool to see them on the Current Switch and also having new side story modes for both Taranza and Susie just like how they did with Magolor in Magolor Epilogue like for Taranza it would be him trying to find Queen Sectonia after the battle against Kirby and for Susie it would be her trying to find her Father President Haltmann or Kirby's Robobot Armor Suit after Kirby destroyed Star Dream. But I hope HAL Laboratory is giving us something good for us Kirby Fans for the future of Kirby for both Current Switch and Switch 2. And also maybe you should talk about the 2D Kirby game leak called Kirby and the Celestial Stars because it says it's a 2D platformer with new abilities and a new companion which kinda looks related to Susie Haltmann which her name is Polly but the whole game or the leak of it looks kinda fake to me. So yeah maybe you can talk about that in your next video just giving out an idea for ya.
