Zero Two, 02, 0², whatever you wanna call him, might not be the best boss in terms of gameplay but in presentation it is absolutely fantastic. Zero being reincarnated as a (sort of) biblically accurate angel was absolutely fantastic. The design is menacing and unsettling, like you mentioned, the background having the wheels, and above all, the music, make it feel like the perfect end to the darkmatter trilogy, which is great because that's exactly what it is. Zero Two might suck, but he is masterclass in terms of aesthetic design.

You can destroy 02's wings in order to not have to shoot it's eye again afterwards. Each wing destroyed makes 02 move slower, and with both destroyed you can just fly above it and it can't keep up with you. That makes it honestly one of the easiest final bosses in the series by a pretty wide margin

The Jamba Heart corruption essentially makes the target succumb to their base desires. For Dedede, that's food, as we saw way back in Dreamland. For Meta Knight? It's to face strong foes regardless of consequences. Part of which involves ensuring the opponent is _armed,_ so the offer of a sword still makes sense. However, "impatience" is also a base desire, so when you don't take it, or try to hit him before doing so? He kicks the blade impetuously, and _that's_ the frame of his splash screen instead of the normal one!

I just wanna say this I’m glad to see Queen Sectonia getting the respect she deserves as a boss fight. While her first phase is alright with one of the best themes, the rest of her fights are phenomenal, and were my favorite growing up. Planet Robobot's Holo Defense API boss might have been more interesting if the crystal units had been actively engaged in the battle from the start like the Pix crystals were in Kirby 64, rather than just letting the projections do all the fighting until the end. Not only would it have given the boss more presence in the fight, but it would have also livened up the recreations of old fights by adding an extra challenge: you don't have to just worry about the nostalgia bait bosses, but also the Holo units zipping through the battlefield with sword attacks and taking plasma potshots at you all the while.

5:29:21 I think this IS the Whispy Woods equivalent for a final boss. Every other boss in the epilogue was a rendition on the Pop Star bosses in the game excluding Whispy, and it’s a giant tree. Sounds pretty Whispy-like to me

Chaos elfilis was a true gamer experience. I had lost a couple attempts on trye arena, after bout an hour made it to chaos. I got to his second phase with one hit left, and died to the giant rush failing to climb the rocks fast enough. The hype of the music made me try again. After about 2 total hours of attempts I finally beat chaos and it was so fun I proceeded to beat true arena with every single ability so I could refight that finale once again. The music for all the faces of elfilis was just perfection. Not just one of the best bosses in the series but honestly one of my favorite bosses in ALL of gaming. Might boot up my switch just to go through that true arena again

I thought of an alternate boss for the President Haltmann battle: instead of it mostly being a redux of Susie's mech, it's an Invader Armor - with copy abilities! To be more specific, the President's specialty Invader Armor [Executive Armor] mech uses some of the copy abilities that we never saw in Kirby's Robobot Armor (possibly even some based on copy abilities from other games). It could also tie in more with Star Dream, with cut scenes throughout the fight in which Haltmann asks the supercomputer for more and more data to access the different copy modes. Potential modes could include: UFO- Seems like an obvious choice, given you're fighting an intergalactic invader. In addition to beams and lasers (the latter of which possibly ricochet much like the Laser ability in Kirby's Adventure), he sometimes uses Mystery Catch to suck Kirby in (and if you lost a copy ability and it's still bouncing around, it'll get sucked in and destroyed, too). Doctor- Primarily attacks with bouncing pills. He can also use the Science Lab move, only it'll unleash all four compounds at once for a deadly combo of fire, ice, and lightning while also healing himself; however, you can have Kirby intercept the fourth compound to heal yourself instead. Sleep- Haltmann's Executive Armor temporarily becomes immobile and dormant, with no real attacks in this mode aside from maybe rocking in his sleep a little if Kirby gets too close. However, if left undisturbed long enough, Sleep Mode will restore more of the President's HP; if you attack him enough times quickly, he'll wake up from his slumber prematurely and won't heal. Ninja- Attacks with a katana and uses smokescreens to conceal himself. Also will sometimes cling to a platform (or Star Dream) in the center of the battlefield (placing him out of range of attacks) and throw knives at you. Mirror- Creates temporary duplicates of himself, and can reflect projectiles back at Kirby. Might also do a Pong-style move where the copies fence in Kirby and bounce an attack between each other to catch Kirby in the crossfire. Poison- Creates dangerous environmental hazards that litter up the battlefield. Cleaning- Based on the copy ability from Kirby's Dreamland 3. In addition to the basic broom attacks, he also uses equivalents of the more powerful moves that you could use with Kirby's animal friends.

Yeah, OG Kabula is a nightmare to no-hit. On RetroAchievements, the cheev for doing such a thing is worth 50 points! For context, most games might only have a 25 point cheev for actually beating the game! Heck, the only tier higher (100 points) is almost exclusively reserved for subsets, and not Core sets! But I'm one of the ones who've done it!

Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland's bosses are easier than adventure's. Mostly because of their bigger sprites and Kirby's abilities being buffed. Also, nightmare orb has half its original health.

I have an idea on how to improve Planet Robobot's Galacta Knight finale for Meta Knightmare Returns, with a surprise twist after the fight. You first battle Galacta Knight mostly like you do in the game, with maybe a couple improvements. But then Access Ark begins to collapse (Galacta Knight destroyed Star Dream when first summoned, remember?), so before you can complete the mode, you must escape the self-destructing space station. And all the while, a now-invincible Galacta Knight hounds you, knowing that it is running on borrowed time until it's sealed away again but stubbornly refusing to let you escape. If this second stage was added to the Galacta Knight confrontation, it would serve as a nostalgic callback to Super Star's Revenge of Meta Knight, emphasize Galacta Knight's power, and catch players off guard when they thought the boss rush would be the end of the challenge.

While not necessarily featured in the battle, I'd like to make note that after the fight against Whispy Woods in Star Allies, you may throw a heart at him for puzzle pieces and food, and I'd give him bonus points just for having that attention to detail. While Void is the only enemy to take damage from the hearts, it is not the only one affected!

What you did here is super impressive and I don't want to take away from that. But I do want to say that what seems to really hook people and ranking videos is going from the very very very worst thing to the very very very best. As a result, I think this video would do like a hundred times better if all the bosses across all games were ranked against each other. I know that would be a pain in the ass to re-edit, but I do think you pull in tons more viewers. The problem with doing segmented things is that viewers are checked out for the segments they aren't familiar with, however when everything is mixed together, a viewer is super invested in finding out the absolute best of the best and worst of the worst, as well as being excited that the next entry on the list could be one they are familiar with. Still a thumbs up for me for what you did, great very impressive work, just letting you know though that I really think of re-edit mixing them all together would get 100k to 1 million views.
