You've inspired me to try and limit screen time on trips! My baby girl is only 8 months so it's not really a thing right now but we have some big trips coming this summer and in my anxiety im like "we'll just give her a screen!" But i love that Alice is so good playing and entertaining herself on these trips! Especially when you travel alone with her! I'd like to create an extensive travel bag/tote soon 😊

I'm starting my weight loss journey as well. I'm in my 40s and have a 3 year old. it's been literally impossible to lose the baby weight. I swear C section makes it worse. I bought a walking pad and I'm taking Phentetmine. So wish me luck!! BTW. I have been meaning to ask you about your spice wall. I see now what you did and I love it! Cool way to hide the electrical box.

Yes. I've started counting calories since my son is now 11 months and I'm basically done breastfeeding. I'm 5 lbs less then when I got pregnant. (I was on a weightloss journey then too) and hoping to lose 10 more pounds before summer. Love seeing that it's working for you. You don't realize how much your eating till you start counting calories

Sandwiches are life. It's the one thing that keeps me falling off of keto. I'm currently buying a traditional sourdough from a bakery. I am hoping it doesn't spark a whole sugar binge. Pray for me lol

I believe I told you this some months ago, but the ONLY thing I find that truly works is calorie deficit/high protein. So I’m glad to see it’s working for you too!

Foodlion is our local store and they are carrying a brand called Big Tree, it's the only marinade & sauce we get now..super clean. They have coconut aminos, Worcestershire and teriyaki sauce and rice wine vinegar. We have been enjoying them without all the crap. Thanks for sharing your journey with us. Alice is getting so big❤

You had me crying so hard. I can relate to you so much. I was told i could never carry a baby full term after never ending appointments. I went to one more doctor who put me on clomid and the pregnancy was non stop issues but i prayed everday. Just let me have one and I'll never ask again. I had a baby. Now he's about to be 22. You just have to keep the faith and manifest what you want will come. You got this!!❤❤

Yes to more baking videos! I’ve never really heard of milling your own grains like this but it’s so interesting! I used to be obsessed with cheez its but have cut them out bc of how highly processed they are. Would love to see your recipe!

I learn so much from your videos! Do you watch Homemaking with Joy? She mills her flour and makes her bread too. I think you’d like hers. Also a from-scratch whole foods approach.

Isn't wheat and flour bad for weight and gut health or is something special about doing it this way? It really looked fresh and good. I bet your house smelled amazing while it was baking.
@jacqiewheeler15 күн бұрын
Regular wheat is because they strip it from all the nutrients! Back in the old days, when they started taking all the nutrients out of the flour, people started getting really sick, so the government told them they had to fortify the flour. They put synthetic nutrients back, so the flour on the shelves is just dead. When you mill your own flour, you are getting 40/43 nutrients, and people who are only sensitive to gluten, usually can eat fresh Milled products! It's also been known to lower a1c and cholesterol, and the extra fiber helps with blood sugar regulation too! Of course, a calorie and a carb is still a calorie and a carb, so you can overeat bread all day and expect to lose weight, but it's much better to eat this bread then bread from the store which is empty calories, with no nutrients.

I'm in the same boat! I have an 11 month old son and a 7 yo daughter. I stopped reading when I was pregnant because i just had horrible focus. Now that's he's getting bigger I'm finally reading again. They are the loudest kids ever so drowning them out with an audiobook is a great bonus 😂
