When it comes to Hanna and Mona’s friendship, you got it spot on it was transactional, they became friends to become “it girls/popular” While they did build a friendship in less than a year Ali was missing, it was still a newer friendship and Hannah does kind of drop Mona so to say when the group of 4 get together.. At some point they show the back story of Mona and Hannah’s friendship, Mona helping Hannah drop the weight to look like Ali… I can’t remember when in the series tho! ❤

Wait this episode is actually so interesting. Loved when you guys would use moments in the show to share insights on acting. When Tammin said the missing piece between Mona & Hanna was their HISTORY- I truly tuned in. And when Lindsay acknowledged Ashley/Hanna’s ability to unlock true vulnerability & invoke emotion in the audience. Lindsay also mentioning Spencer’s mom and her politically correctness. I loved you guys sharing your behind the scenes knowledge of acting and performance tied to PLL / how you felt about the character development/acting choices in the show.

The crazy thing is, that Toby is actually a pervert in the books. He spies on the girls while they're changing. He's the one doing the sexual abuse in the books. The firework thing was actually something planned between "Alison" (Courtney) and Jenna to make the sexual abuse stop. Jenna is the victim of Toby's actions in the books.

I swear if I hear 'manifest' I'm gonna remove my own teeth lol the man who conceptualised the term also stated 'god never use to exist but we created him thru manifestation' which is ridiculous lol but also my fav response to that I heard is 'then where is the tooth fairy and santa clause'... the concept on manifestation is poisonous and damaging. I'm pretty sure (I may be wrong) the cast photo being referred to was released prior to season 3 airing. The reason I say this is because Drew Van Acker is in it and he wasn't Jason in season 1. And Janel has her villain Mona makeup on. The reason why Janel was in it I'm assuming is because she was promoted to regular and became a sort of honorary liar moving forward. Who knows why they had all the boys in it, a lot of them were just recurring like Jason or Lucas at the time. If they had recurring characters in it they should have had Jenna included.

In the books, Alison is the second and third A. She ends up taking the role after Mona died from her fall off the cliff. Also, she's actually not the girl that the Liars befriended. The girl the Liars befriended was actually her twin sister Courtney, who switched places with her. Alison's motive for tormenting the Liars, is that she blames them for giving Courtney the opportunity to switch places with her. She also resents them because Courtney, while posing as her, dumped all her popular friends, and decided to befriend them instead.
