The oldest Polynesian DNA is here on Fatu Hiva. The ancients sailed from Tiwan to Samoa. Then on to this island. Then to Rap Inui and on to South America. We are now finding Polynesian gnome markers in Columbia, Brazil and Mexico.

I once did a yacht trip with an overnight stay at Ollies. The key is getting on it early before the panga boats show up. Then why they show up, someone goes and dives for conch cevice. Hang out, and then all the panga boats have to leave to make it to playa del cocoa, THEN you get Ollies to yourself. I surfed it with 2 other people. Best time ever. Its such a fun easy wave to surf.
