This is very well done. I attempted to study for the license (pre Humber days). I passed course 1 but couldn't get past course 2. Didn't have enough passion for it unfortunately. You learn a lot when you study for your license - it requires a lot of different skills.

Hey so you do not have to be a part of organized real estate if your brokerage allows it, no. However 99.9% of Real Estate Agents that take their business serious do as you will need to be able at the very least to list your clients properties on Realtor. ca. That of course among many other professional tools and resources you'll want to grow a successful business. But simple answer is, you do not have to if your brokerage allows it.

@@harryminhas8044 Hey great stuff Harry, glad they help. 👍 C4 can be very repetitive and depending which version of the exam you get can be pretty hard so I do suggest going through it all. However I’m not sure if I mention it in this video or not but modules 9, 10 & 11 are VERY similar. Almost copy and paste similar at times so you will be able to read/skim there MUCH faster.

what if you are purchasing a home without a real estate agent (so private sale) how do we go about obtaining and APS. I've looked on the form and there's a note on the bottom that states that only members of the OREA are allowed to use this form...? Any suggestions?

It's essentially similar to a traditional team however the brokerages business model allows me to give you everything (training, tools, support, groups including the ON Agent Program) free for joining us. Hi Callum, love your videos and master classes! They have helped me immensely. Humber has now changed the assessment time and date for Sim 1. On the 5th day, you have class in the morning and a review in the afternoon. You now book your own exam time and date in-person or virtually within the following week timeframe. You can have a trade name yes. Sometimes it requires an affidavit but it is a common practice yes.

Im an introvert who graduated from a marketing program in college and im super drawn to real estate for the high ticket commision 🤩 i do not love talking to people but i can tolerate it a little bit 🤭 is real estate for the introvert? I know im a damn good digital marketer coming from a marketing background but the only thing i havent done is face to face sales ✊ i dont wanna write off real estate just for the in-person portions cause it seems like marketing is already more than half of the game 🤞

Hey glad it helps. Ok so it will help that you are a great digital marketer but you have to get really good at talking to people, making them feel comfortable and confident to work with you as well. That can be done a million different ways and yours might be through preparation and research but you do have to also get damn good at face to face and voice to voice conversations.

Hi Callum, I got a 73 on my 1st attempt. Can you believe the insanity? Now I have to pay again to redo it. I'm considering getting additional practice before retaking the test. Do you recommend Exam Master or PassIt? Which one do you think will help more?

Hey sorry to hear Kartikeya. 😕 73% is a TON of question right. I always say I feel the passing mark should be 70% as a lot of this stuff you don’t really know for once licenced. 1 fail isn’t bad though it means nothing really but let’s try to avoid 2. Ok so the Exam Master Mini Course is done by me and it’s EXACTLY what I wish I had before going into every exam. However Passit I do think is very good too. Maybe the Exam Masters go for more quality over quantity but both will help. 👍 If you end up getting the Exam Master Mini Course be sure to use the value links in the description for all KZbin Subscribers. So if eXp Realty didn't exist I would debate it. Everything is just already in place for me. But even then if it wasn't, it's a ton of liability and work owning your own brokerage. Being a Broker at a Brokerage growing your business is a good amount of work. If I had to think about logistics, liabilities and managing other people it would take away from it. Not something I'm looking to build at this point in my life.

What happens if the tenant doesn’t pay the first and last after signing the agreement? Is it possible to sue them?

The tenant and their representation will have 24hr from signing the agreement to get the deposit to the listing agents brokerage. If they do not they are in breach of contract and if it can not be resolved usually the listing agent will put the property back up on the market. If it went MUCH further maybe small claims court could be involved however most likely they would just put it back up for lease.
