They're what's known as born again protestants. Born again's typically reflect on their lives before breaking down into a sobbing fit, much like a mental break down, then laugh and scream 'I'm saved!' like lunatics. Afterwards they reject Baptism and believe anyone who hasn't gone through what they had is inferior to themselves.
