I totally agree with you. As an Orthodox Christian, I'm ahast of such events. In a Christian country, Christian values should always come first. Our Orthodox priests do not bless those who participate in such events, and always ask us not to take them lightly (as Eastern Europeans, it's also new to us and our culture - it's only recently that such events started being pushed into our society).
