Well I opened my box on Christmas Day and only got two rail cars (a CN closed hopper and a CP gondola), but, my loco was a CP 10 wheeler steam engine! I already have two of them so this is a bonus! Happy New Year Geoff

A steamer! Nice would not fit my era but steamers are nice. I have a big boy just because i like this engine!

I too model both HO and N scale.....ive always enjoyed HO scale, but my son prefers N scale.....so i compromise........you can pack a lot more model railroading action into the same size space with N scale.........but you can do both. This sounds like the beginnings of a great switching layout. Cant wait to see how this progresses.

Exactly what you say. Nscale needs way less room for „more“. But i also just love H0. And i also like the style of a shelf layout, thats why i do both. Also i just can not work on just one layout or project 🙄🤣

Congrats on your haul, happy to see someone from Switzerland love our Canadian railways. I'm modelling mostly Algoma Central and Ontario Northland with a bit of CN and CP. I've got my first mystery box this year but it's from the wife so I have to wait till the 25th to open it. They were recommended by the dealer I use, Kingston Locomotive Works in Ontario, Canada. Hey geoff. Yes i do love the CN they just have the greatest paint scheme i think. And i mean comon its canada! I have to say i was never there but definitly have it on my bucketlist. Then i wish you good luck with your pulls! My go to shop in canada is otter valley railroad, ordered many stuff from them and they are great. Cheers and happy christmas. Marco

How big will the layout be if I build it in H0 scale? It doesn't have to be a copy 1 to 1. But would it be fitable to 260 cm by 125 cm? Greetings Antwan

Hmm i guess it could fit but it would be to steep. I think with 3m to 1.50 it would work a little better. Also the curves are not that tight.

From Holland thanks for the videos. I look forward to the next episode. Can you tell me more about the slopes of the track, are they not too steep and would the track also be build without the lower pillars so directly from the base plate.👌

The slopes are woeking fine so far. Had no issues so far. All my trains are going both ways with no problem. You could install parts of it without pillars but i dont think it will work pverall because of over/under and beidge scenes or the landscape.
