I too model both HO and N scale.....ive always enjoyed HO scale, but my son prefers N scale.....so i compromise........you can pack a lot more model railroading action into the same size space with N scale.........but you can do both. This sounds like the beginnings of a great switching layout. Cant wait to see how this progresses.

Exactly what you say. Nscale needs way less room for „more“. But i also just love H0. And i also like the style of a shelf layout, thats why i do both. Also i just can not work on just one layout or project 🙄🤣
