Should we go by factory pressure or what the brand tire itself says?
@aplusperformancecycleinc2 күн бұрын
It's best to follow what the manufacturer wants for tire pressure. If you go by the tire, it usually only tells you what the maximum pressure is allowed by the tire brand which is to high!

What’s the difference in the fueling oe+ and hp+ cam plate?
@aplusperformancecycleinc3 күн бұрын
FEULING HIGH FLOW camplates for TC engines increase engine oil flow and volume by enlarging the oil pump reservoirs and critical oil passages including matching the oil port holes throughout the camplate to the port holes in the engine case increasing engine oil flow to the lifters, piston cooling jets, crankshaft and rod bearings resulting in 25-35 degree cooler engine temperatures. Made from 7075 billet aluminum which 50% harder and stronger than the factory, SE and other aftermarket camplates. The 7075 increases the strength and hardness of the camplate, holding tighter tolerances under temperature eliminating flexing and the need for bronze bushings as 7075 material has excellent bearing like properties. FEULING camplates are blue printed and matched to the Feuling oil pumps, which allow the Twin Cam engine to take full advantage of the increased volume from the high flow oil pumps resulting in cooler quieter engine operation. Tighter cam bearing bore tolerance for improved press fit Camplates are pressure tested & pressure relief valve and spring are pre-set and designed for the increased volume and pressure, eliminating the need to stretch the spring or use a shim. When matched with the Feuling Race Series Oil Pump rear wheel power gains of 3 Horsepower and 4 ft/lbs of Torque are achieved. For use ONLY with the Feuling oil pumps Bolts into stock location

Are you comparing stock tune with throttle body tuned,, or are the stock numbers on the graph, stock with a tune vs manifold with a tune? if the stock wasn't tuned, I'd be curious to see the comparison with the stock tuned vs with manifold tuned. I apologize if this was stated, as I didn't see it.

Very interesting. Is it a vacuum pump. Stile. And do you run a line from the cam cover and run a filter off of it. How much
@aplusperformancecycleincАй бұрын
Not a vacuum pump. Its a spinning reed valve system that allows pressure out and not oil mist. you can vent it anywhere by adding hose.

Dyna wide glide 2003 bought in the US with 3618 miles. It probably spent most of that time in the garage. The question is whether the tensioners may be worn out or the material has lost its original properties. Can the o-ring on the oil line lose its elasticity? What would you advise or is there something to worry about?
@aplusperformancecycleincАй бұрын
If the bike had sit for sometime, It would be wise to check the tensioners. The o-rings should be ok.

Is this a hot idle and what rpm does it sit at?
@aplusperformancecycleincАй бұрын
Usually you want a twin cam 950-1000 rpm idle. Anything lower does not spin the oil pump fast enough and you run the risk of not feeding the top end with sufficient oil supply.

@@aplusperformancecycleinc Good to see that more people are proving that these m8's in smaller cubic inch builds are benefiting from larger throttle bodies and intakes all day long. It seems to be a common misconception that a larger throttle body will kill the bottom end on these motors and it just don't seem to be the case. What I have found is that it don't hurt the bottom end and actually gives a bump on the horsepower. I'm running the HPI 62mm throttle body and intake on my 114 with 5.5 injectors and a redshift 468 cam and getting 119/133. Just about what you would expect in torque with that cam and about five or more horsepower than what seems about average with that cam in a 114. Also the torque curve is flat as a table top to boot. Zero dip. I was told by my dyno tuner and a few so called experts that the 62mm was way to big for my build and would kill performance.

I really don't think the B motor is any worse than the A motor, they both can last a long time. Now, if you're referring to the spring loaded cam chain tensioners you really should be checking them every 10k miles or so.
