As a kid I remember buying TDK 60 minute tapes as the 90 minute ones would make issues when retaping haha! Good times!

That has to be one of the coolest packaging ideas for a watch that I've seen. This has that whole mid '90s party in an obscure basement vibe. The 'jellyfish' model is definitely the one to go for imho, if it weren't for the hairy wrists issue:) For 35 bucks this is really awesome. I think this is your longest collaboration with a watch brand, right Chris?

So I was always curious about the over sized bold color designed Invicta watches but didn't want to spend the money not knowing if I would like them or not (not really my taste but like I said I am curious). So in this last/current sale I found a Stryve ani-digital watch in 55mm case width and those bold Invicta style colors for around $12 ... I haven't gotten it yet and frankly don't expect much quality wise but it is a cheap way to satiate the curiosity. Might be Another to check out.

I really am not a quartz fan but the Expedition Scout is really hard to beat. Its my Turkey season watch, cheap tough and indiglo is very handy in the woods at 5am.

I've had several Timex in my collection, currently have a 40mm Marlin and a mechanical expedition north. Deff good watches for the money, use a lot of really ghetto movements in their mechanical/autos though lol.

Stay out of Walmart sir. We know you like Casio and you're just going to drive us further down this beautiful rabbit hole 🕳 with all of the shiny and precious ticking wrist pieces 😅

You have to say ANYONE WHO LIVES IN USA. I live in Argentina and i have to pay twice or more money for the same watch , example = IN USA 50 U$S and in ARGENTINA 100 or 150 U$S for a single TIMEX watch.

I own two Timex in my 70+ watch collection: 1) Expedition Scout (INDIGLO!!!) 2) Weekender Chronograph (as a chronograph it also avoids the loud ticking people often complain about).

Thanks for showing us these watches. Timex makes some very cool watches. They seem to get overshadowed by Casio as Citizen gets overshadowed by Seiko. Thanks!

Chris, you really love Timex, which I guess is no secret at this point:) For me, the highlight of Timex is their Expedition line. Always has been what first comes to mind when I think of Timex. They even have two great digitals in that range, the CAT midsize and the Atlantis. In terms of Ironman models, my first choice would be the T5K195.

Great Collection, thanks for Posting. I have a Pagani 1664 the Daytona Homage with meteorite Dial, changing the strap from the black to a Red rubber strap completely changed the aesthetics of the watch, now it spends much more time on my wrist then before. Also have the Addiesdive pilot watch, delivers so much bang for your buck, great watch. 👍🏼

On those hands and indices -- the finishing was purposeful to make it feel a bit more vintage and have that 60's- 70's vibe of "handmade" or "found" steel or aluminum. When I was a kid growing up on the beach, you'd sometimes find weird metal flotsam and jetsam on the beach -- from a sunken ship? A 1920's rum runner? Who knows, but we imagined a lot (it was likely just something that fell off a fishing boat!). It was always sort of shiny and scratched up and we used the found goods in sand castles and such. But reality is that's probably WAY too much personal minutia! So your gripe there is probably a bit accurate and I should have pulled back on that bit of thinking. I still think it adds a bit, but I totally get the point! If anyone ever has any questions -- feel free to contact me!
