Thank you for this video! Was able to save $$$ and change the colour of my phone! So easy to follow. I used a hairdryer and the whole thing took about 20 mins including the clamping time!

you can do it with out remove the screws, but they do go in to the backside glass, and have to be removed when installing new glass if it should be done properly

you can see the holes for the screws, of cause you should remove the two screws, and not force it free, bigger chance til break anything

People have expextional ability in damaging theirs devices that they don't care about 😂. This is not bad. Those with broken screen and broken aluminum frame are the ones I don't understand how it can happen.

Why does everyone heat up the phone? It makes the glue stick more. Cold will make it much easier. Give it a try you'll see.

I have come to this answer that's people don't like. Until you can certify with scientific measures that it meets the IP certification 67 or 68 don't submerge your smartphones after repairing/replacing something.

No, they're not compatible. You'll need to use the correct back glass for the S22.

My s9 got damaged at my pool, water entered thru the sim port into the frontal camera. Screen only works on maximums bright but only in a washed out tone. The right side heats a lot, probably some shorting. Battery puffed out because of the heat. Bought a new battery and it is working, but I gotta fix that short, I haven't solder anything in years not sure if I am up to the task. Oh the phone charges

If the device is too hot it will shut down that's just how iPhones works.

You don't feel comfortable don't do it! Go to Apple or find a repair shop. Some people will try other will not.

That's easy!? You practically had to take the phone apart to get to the battery! Oh well, if my current Blackberry KeyOne, which I've replaced the battery on, dies and I'm forced to get a new phone (iPhone -- never!), I'm saving this video. These companies definitely want users to trade their phones in instead of replacing the battery.

Also the protective glass over the camera, where mine is broken (it's basically a hole in it on the main lens) it doesn't focus properly like yours does in the video. I dont know if my camera doesn't focus anymore because the glass broke or if it's something else. Please help! Lol

I used an original screen so it's 💯. If you use a lesser screen than the original that would be the difference.

Yo por no saber ingrese la púa de más en la pantalla y termine quitando y quebrando un pin que iba presionado por atrás de la pantalla, me fijé si hacía contacto con los que van por la huella pero fueron otros, no sé en que vaya afectar pero ya veremos cuando consiga la pantalla xd

As of the newest update to ios you might need to repair the part to the motherboard of needed. If it works without any warning GREAT you don't have to do anything else.
